We Found One - Nickel Coin Hunt and Album Fill 183

- This is part 183 of the series (Boxes 160-161 for Series 3 and Boxes 16-17 for Series 4). I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed!
FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some valuable Nickels!

Hi Rob, I have been searching nickels with my grandson and he loves it. We found a 39 double Monticello a couple of weeks ago and I showed him the value and put it in his nickel book. He also likes searching for silver with me. Thank you for your channel.

I appreciate your efficient searching bring us in with found coins. You also keep superfluous comments to a minimum and remind us of helpful videos with information some may be unfamiliar. It is also a pleasure to watch videos that are reasonable length

Hey Rob, nice to finally see a buffalo. I'm currently on a 17-box schneid without one. So far in 45 boxes found 38 silvers and only 18 buffaloes. But I did find my first 50-D (AU) in box 44! Great hunt, and as always, keep it up brother!

So when it comes to proofs, I'd say you're right that halves and nickels produce a lot of them, but dollar coins are even better for proofs. I've found a BUNCH of proof small dollars. Quarters have been decent too. Only ever found one proof penny, and no proof dimes.
Hi Rob, have you ever found a 1943P silver nickel with the double-eyed variety? I did the other day. I felt so lucky.
I have not BUT I am always looking for that one and the 1943/2 one as well!
I just had one of my worst wheat cent boxes, but I found a red 1958, 2 brown 1936's, one was an ender, and a 1946 D. It took 40 rolls to get the 1958 which was the first wheat cent of the box, but it's strange that I also found 3 proofs in the last 10 rolls, a 1959 proof, 1961 proof, and a 1962 proof. Do you think this could be the end of a collection dump of old proofs?
