Hey Rob I've tried a few times to ask about buying silver coins off you but couldnt find any on eBay store. Are you willing to sell silver coins and how does it work buying from you?
I live in Denver and have not found 2020 D’s yet.
I call the 1965 quarters "close calls."
Some of the 1965-7 really look like silver until closer inspection. I sometimes wonder if they adjusted the way they made the clad coins from 1968 to present, as I rarely ever think of them possibly being silver. I do know that the copper nickel clads all have the same percentage of copper and nickel, but dang those 65-7 fool me a lot.

@@collectingonthecheap56353 For me, I think the 1965 to 1969 Washington quarters look exactly like the silver ones other than the sides and the dates. I also believe that if all of the sides of the 1965 to 1969 were spray painted a silver color and mixed in with their silver counterparts, most if not all non-coin collecters out there would never tell the difference (unless they accidently dropped one of the silver quarters on the cement floor-even then, maybe they wouldn't notice?-lol).
2020 bat seems appropriate.

i work at my local supermarket and i’ve been finding a lot more state quarters in mint state condition in the rolls than usual. i’ve also scored someone’s silver collection because i got to know them when i was checking them out from the store 3 times a week. i’ve been a collector since i was 14 and watching your channel brings back so many memories, keep going man!

I think it’s kind of ironic how the new 2020 quarters have bats on them. What are we going through right now? The coronavirus pandemic, which scientists believe could have originally came from bats.

I'm envious! I have yet to lay eyes on a 2020 coin of any type! I did have a good week at work, coin-wise: a 1964 80% silver Canadian dime on Monday, a 1963-D Rosie dime on Wednesday, and a 1917 legible date Buffalo nickel on Thursday. Definitely one of my better weeks!

It's an oldie but a goodie!
The quarter with the giant zit on the eagle’s head was pretty cool! Sometimes die cracks are like clouds. You can see images in them and make up stories about them. In this case, we have an eagle in need of Dr Pimple Popper.
My grandma found a 1936 S penny in her dish drawer. BOOM!
Left Turn Productions [LTP] I get excited when I find S mint marks too lol. I live in Ohio and I very, very rarely see S’s on anything. Rob probably finds more silver quarters in a year than I find anything with an S lol

My dad has a giant vase full of coins, I went through it, found a few euros, America the beautiful quarters, old German coins, Canadian pennies/dimes, wheat pennies, and a bunch of 64 quarters which angered me

You inspired me recently. Started hunting nickels and pennies. 2 boxes of nickels down and I've filled up over half of the 30s 40s and 50s of a Jefferson Dansco book. Also found a V nickel in the first box and a war nickel last night.
Fun hunt. I finally hit 11 silvers in a box of quarters. Usually get one every 11 boxes. Was happy for that reversal. Hope we can still get some more boxes with all the banks being the way they are. Keep up the good work.

Im a cashier at a grocery store, I was handed a $10 role of quarters from a coworker because i needed more in the register. I noticed at the end the quarter was silver. So i opened it quickly and yes it was silver. I purposely carry coins in my pocket to trade in the register till just encase I find silver. So I traded in the one i had in my pocket for the silver one i found.
Rob, Congrats on finally breaking the 8 box quarter skunk!!! I STILL haven't found a silver hunting quarters, so I've stopped with the quarters, sticking to halves where I'm doing pretty good!!!

Nice 2020. I just got a roll of 2020-P late last night. When you dropped the 194*-s I immediately thought it is silver, don't damage it lol. Can't wait till the banks reopen.

Coin shops have it. You can always metal detecting. I just relized how much of a waste coinroll hunting is.
I pissed everyone off at the drive through because my bank doesn’t want me to roll the coins so I just have bags and that’s all that’s open

Have you ever found a California State Quarter With the Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer Movie Promotion Printed on the Reverse? I've only found 1 in my Life at a Grocery Store a year after the movie came out, and I haven't Seen another in circulation Since. I've seen them being sold on ebay a few years back.

I love watching the roll hunts. That poor old silver quarter has indeed got to be the ugliest one out there. It has to be a variety all to itself, and deserves to be in a 2 X 2 holder.

I was doing laundry and got 20 bucks in quarters found a 1964 silver d mint mark. Lucky me!!!!

Should I use Nik-a-date on a 1924 buffalo to reveal the mint mark?
If you cannot without a doubt see a mint mark, it likely doesn't have one. If you cannot tell if it is a D or an S BUT you know it has one, then I'd say try all other ways to identify it first.
Do you pull out the 2009 10 11 12 low mintage coins ?
