    I find with the 10 keyless methods you still have the f10 - f11 keys which can be used to increase and lower volume depending on preference. But I know some people would dislike this since it it is an extra step having to hit the f10 key before hitting the function key. But I find this not an issue since it's so common for me to go for that anyways and it's a lot better than doing it right from the OS itself.

  • @e21big
    @e21big 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    But why would you want to use it on TKL all the time when you can just move the numbpad to the left? You've got the full benefit as TKL and fullsize that way anyway. I would buy this in a hearthbeat if only they tone down that gamery aesthetic a bit more - and if they offered some good compatible mouse

    Here a point of view of someone that use it for work....
    i have the mx mechanical keyboard and recently buy an asus claymore 2 keyboard...
    and i can tell that for work maybe i prefer the mx mechanical...
    in the asus you can program every key... but its a little more complicated...
    but in the mx mechanical with the logitech options you have the option of programing keys (not every key but a lot of keys)...
    and in logitech options you can program every key for any program you want....
    that is a very good feature that in theory you can do in the asus keyboard but... simply dosnt work as well as the logitech program...
    and yes you can put the num pad on the left side but... i am so acostume to the "normal" position of the numpad that i cant use it on the left...
    it feels incredible unconfortable to have the numpad on the left... i cant find any key... i constantly press the numlock key thinking is the esc key and pressing the zero key believing is the control key... and using the right hand to find the numpad... so this is a very cool feature that dosnt work for me maybe someone else can acostume to the left side numpad... and maybe its better... but for me i just simply cant...
    the ty ping experience is very very good... i really dosnt play anything and use it for work... and for work i think its better the mx mechanical...
    nothing its perfect but this is a very good keyboard... i hve it with the blue switches... and its a little loudly but not as much as some people says...
    another thing i dont like is that the battery life is pretty bad... compared with the logitech mx mechanical... with the asus you have to recharge every week... whit the logitech you have to recharge like every month or more...
    so... if you wanta keyboard for playing... maybe the asus is better... for work i prefer the mx mechanical but both are very good keyboards...
    and i have to admit the typin experience are better in the asus... but the typing experience in the logitech are good and the customization in the software are better...
    a hard choice both are premium keyboards...
    i will give it a try to the claymore 2... bu t for someone that need it for work maybe the mx mechanical is better.

  • @ShadowManceri
    @ShadowManceri ปีที่แล้ว

    It's bit incomplete. The volume wheel should be in the main board. It also should have lights on/off button. The movable numpad is bit of a gimmick that isn't really worth anything. If it would work without being attached, then it would instantly gain a point. To make use of this modular design they could make extra addon similar to numpad but let it be only macro keys. Then it would start to make sense that you have this extra module. Also no Linux support. Makes the keyboard somewhat low tier.

  • @andkirby7
    @andkirby7 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    NUMpad is ridiculous.
    1) has volume, as it's mentioned in 4:27
    2) toooo flimsy
    3) Why I cannot connect numpad separately? It's so obvious.
    I need to keep the keyboard on my knees, and this numpad breaks everything.
    I guess, it's mostly for desktop.
    But the idea is really good. Implementation? I don't think so....
    Keyboard is too loud with red switches, after mx red on Varmilo (panda).
    And the noise comes (I guess) not from switches but from keycups.
    Good review.

    to answer the question at the very start of the video about gaming keyboards becoming stale. i don't think its "gaming keyboards" not doing anything "innovative" its more people are moving towards customs over main stream purchases as they can truly make a keyboard that fits them perfectly, and its becoming increasingly easier and far cheaper to make a keyboard these days. so more people are able to justify the purchase of a custom over a mainstream board

    It looks cool but nothing compares to the azeron keypad combined with a good mouse. I use that shit for everything.
