What a player Thierry Henry was . No matter who your team is . He’s the kind of player that makes you love football.
In my opinion he is the greatest striker in PL history. Shearer is amazing and holds the record for most goals but there's not a goal Alan scored Henry couldn't but there are plently of goals Henry scored which Alan couldn't. Not to mention what Henry did for the team, what he did for the team that the other top scorers can not say they did. Henry is one of the greatest players to ever live not only in the prem but the world. But amazingly what I find way more admirable than that is the way in which this man conducts himself in his position. Always grateful, always humble, calm but passionate when he needs to be, how thoughtful he is with his words, how he always puts others over, how he doesn't forget a single person who helped him become a great from Wenger to his personal friends, his attitude of always try and give it your best - that's all he's about and that made him a great but he never let his ego get on top of him instead using his ego and pride as a tool. There's a LOT people can learn from Henry about football but also a LOT people can learn from him which has nothing to do with football. 🐐

I know everyone today talks about Messi and Ronaldo, and perhaps, rightly so. But, for me, Thierry Henry will always rank higher than Messi or Ronaldo as he was the guy I looked up to and hoped to play like when I was younger, kicking the ball around with my buddies at the park...before Messi ever became Messi or Ronaldo, him.

Love watching this what a true professional and absolute legend. Let's not forget the amazing team around him to give him the assist and keep goals out the other end . I wish the Arsenal of today would show as much passion and determination as those guys did. Made no difference playing man u or teams at the bottom they approached every game the same to win and give 100% the wages have ruined a lot of it for me.
As an Arsenal fan I feel blessed to be a part, of this club. I saw Thierry play against Barca at Wembley and when he was subbed on to be honest he didn't play well but trust me, even then there was something about him. A carisma that was hard to explain but you felt it. Same as when Dennis arrived, there was an unspoken feeling amounst the fans where we all knew that he just needed some time. Look at them now. Two of the greatest to ever play the game and Gunners for life. I love Arsenal.
