  • This video contains two matches I had with the LV1 and LV2 Gundam Pixy on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 400-600 cost raid with access to the Stealth skill, great boosting speed, a fast neutral swing with a disjointed hitbox alongside good hit and run ability. Its weaknesses would be that it only gets LV2 Forced Injectors starting at 550-600 cost and LV1 below that, a long 15 seconds reload time for the uzis, very low HP, poor scaling per level alongside having no Emergency Evasion. I honestly thought that this first match was a loss from the beginning, fighting 3 S- Metal Spiders seemed hopeless with a Pixy. I definitely had some rough moments that show off the weaknesses of the suit, but I somehow managed to bring it back and win later in the match. I think it is a really fun suit. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The primary weapon of the Gundam Pixy is a pair of uzis with 100x2 power, 40 ammo, 518 RPM, 15 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 175m range, 1727 DPS and 3%x2 stagger value. These have really high DPS and can potentially stagger quickly, but they have a very long reload time and needs to hit most of the clip to actually stun. They are amazing for bursting down a low HP suit but usually its best to just ambush them with melee instead.
Its primary melee weapon is a pair of beam daggers with 2300 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 1 second swap time and 100/70/49% combo modifier. Despite being daggers, the neutral swing for this weapon has surprisingly good reach and speed. The downswing has long range thanks to its lunging motion along with short recovery. The downswing can be cancelled by a boost almost as soon as it connects, so hit and run attacks can be very effective.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan with 50 power, 30 ammo, 372 DPS, 150m range and 2% stagger value. These are pretty useless other than for finishing off enemies, though the low DPS makes even that difficult.
Its second sub weapon is an Enhanced Type II hand grenade with 1400 power, 3 ammo, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 13 seconds reload, 1 seconds swap time and 30% stagger value. These have high power for hand grenades but won't do that much damage thanks to your low shooting modifier.
The LV1 Pixy has 12000 HP, 12 ballistic resist, 10 beam resist and 20 melee resist. This HP is horribly low and means that generals will probably take you out in one combo if you are caught. Your only defensive skills are LV2 Stealth and LV2 Maneuver Armor. LV2 Stealth causes you to disappear from enemies radars until you attack or go within 50m of the enemies radar. You can make use of this to ambush enemies if you pick the right spots and have patience. You lack a dodge roll so once your MA is broken by a general, you will almost certainly eat a high damage combo with no recourse.
It also has 135 walk speed, 225 boost speed, 55 thrust and 72 turn speed. Other than the low amount of thrust, this places you among the fastest suits at 400 cost. Though, you don't have much thrust to play with. It has LV1 Forced Injector as well.
In conclusion, I feel that while the Pixy is very fun, it is a seriously flawed suit regardless. If you can afford to just ambush enemies over and over to knock them down then it can work, but there are too many flaws. This suit lives and dies by its thrust gauge, but only having 55 thrust and LV1 Forced Injector means you run out quickly. You can't afford to increase it that much either, since you need to use your custom part slots for leg armor. The uzis are not that useful either, same goes for the vulcans and hand grenades. So practically, the Pixy is a suit that uses only its melee the vast majority of the time. I feel like it could get buffed with stuff like 4%x2 uzi stun accumulation, 5 second uzi reload time, 13000 HP, better scaling per level, LV2 Forced Injector, 65 thrust alongside maybe better vulcans or Emergency Evasion. I am not sure if it will ever get buffed again though, since it strikes me as the type of suit that would roll over A- and A rank players who don't know how to counter it, so maybe its not doing too badly in the developers data. I won't say "don't use Pixy", it can definitely be a pest if used well, but put in a lot of practice with it and learn how stealth works if you want to use it effectively. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
