GBO2 Char's Z'Gok: It has a 6000 power counter tackle!
This video contains two matches I had with the recently released Char's Z'Gok on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 350 cost general with great stun accumulation, good midrange damage, good stagger lock ability, access to Counter Boost alongside it having a 6000 power counter animation. Its main weakness would be that both of its instant staggers are somewhat awkward to use, it isn't always practical to hit the head missiles or a stop to fire beam stun in the heat of the moment. This suit is currently available as a token pack DLC bonus on PSN. It feels really strong to me, it has amazing versatility for a low cost general. It has impressive shooting performance while still retaining good enough melee ability, most generals here can only really melee. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is an arm beam cannon with 900 power, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 30% heat, 15 seconds overheat time, 0.77 seconds switching time, 300m range and 35% stagger value. This can fire 4 shots without overheating and needs 3 to stun. This is a good midrange DPS tool, especially when used in combination with the rapid fire beam.
Its primary melee weapon is a claw with 1900 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swapping time, 100% side swing mod, 140% down swing mod and 80% combo modifier. This can only swing two times unlike the regular Z'Gok, but it can still does high damage relative to other generals. It is easy to use, since the neutral swing hitbox is somewhat disjointed, having similar reach to a beam saber neutral swing, on top of the neutral swing having between 5-6 frames of start-up time (at 60 FPS).
Its first sub weapon is a head torpedo launcher with 200x6 power, 6 ammo, 6 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 350m range and 10%x6 stagger value. These have a pretty weird firing arc that makes them hard to use point blank, but each missile instant staggers.
Its second sub weapon is a double arm beam cannon shot with 800x2 power, 85% heat, 4 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 5%x2 stagger value. This must stop to fire, but it deals high damage and instantly staggers. This lets you instant stun suits in a pinch close up, but it is also useful for continuing midrange combos with.
Its third sub weapon is a rapid fire arm beam cannon with 350x4 power, 14%x4 heat, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range and 15%x4 stagger value. You can basically consider this as an alternate version of your primary, it basically serves the same purpose, stagger accumulation and DPS.
The LV1 Char's Z'Gok has 14500 HP, 10 ballistic resistance, 11 beam resistance and 12 melee resist. It has just about average durability for a 350 coster. It also has LV2 Emergency Evasion, LV1 Maneuver Armor and a 10% damage reduction head buffer.
In terms of mobility it has 135 (138 including ground affinity) walking speed, 190 boosting speed, 60 thrust and 66 (72 including affinity) turning speed. It basically has identical mobility to the raid Z'Gok, so it is really rather nimble for a 350 cost general. It has LV1 Optimized Cooling Efficiency, which reduces the amount of thrust required to start boosting with by 10%.
Furthermore, it has LV1 Counter Boost. After landing a counter tackle, for 30 seconds, it deals 20% more damage, takes 20% less ranged damage, takes 15% less melee damage and gains 5 more walk speed.
In conclusion, I feel that the Char's Z'Gok will fit quite comfortably into the 350 cost meta. I was playing it in 400 cost just so I could get footage when I was on, but it should still be a pretty accurate portrayal of how powerful it is. It can just keep shooting all day and stunning all day, while at the same time remaining ready to counter tackle enemies attacking allies. I think it is worth getting, but just consider carefully if it is worth it or not, since it costs real money to get it. It may not necessarily be better than options like Acguy Firepower Type, Sliferail or Hygogg. Thanks for watching!

Poor Ram Z'gok. Now nobodies gonna use it (not that anyone has used that suit in ages)
05:05 haha how stupid
If if ever comes to PC I'm curios how it will fares against Demeter and God/Burning Gundam on 650 and 700
Too bad nobody plays with the vanilla GM. You could reenact the scene in underground base 😅
It’s official. This Z’gok is the most cracked 400 in the game
It’s not even base 400, it’s 350
@ …MOST CRACKED 350 IN THE GAME
Honestly I feel like it needs better beam heat rate reduction but needs better melee damage a bit better
So both its Downswing and Counter are the same pose? Strange but neat.
Looking forward to Char's *other* aquatic mobile suit to come out
Zogojuagu, for anyone curious :)
So avenger is this thing worth getting the pack for or is it another crappy token suit?
Should’ve been a 400 cost suit honestly though I get why they put it at 350.
Z'gok E
"So, what's the deal with you?" "6000 power counter, decent shooting." "Pretty good, but I could just play the Sliferail/Slyfrail. What do you REALLY bring to the table, Char's Zgok?" "Avenger1_GBO2.... you don't have to paint me." "My god..."
Oh my god, I didn't know it did the "pose" in the counter animation! Amazing!

This thing is fucking bonkers
I remember back when I played 550 was my favorite cost up until Perfect Gundam TB released. Seems like devs have just completely polluted this cost with all their most op bullshit since then too.
balance aside, holy shit it's an ugly backpacker.
Bro is literally just rushing down a Psycommu Doga yeah this suit is fucking stupid lol
So how is any team going to win against PGTB, Psycommu and Engage stacks?
bruh why does this suit have lunging downswing? do the devs just shove it to every new ms now lol?
RX-78-6 Gundam Unit 6 PLEASE
That's Mudrock, it's already in the game.
As a support main we deserve this boys! Waiting for it to drop on PC ver.
I see that xi gundam was trying to get cute with ya afew times. Glad you made him regret it.
Y'know this is only cementing my theory that MP Queb isn't good enough for 650. Some 550 wank comes and gets basically better stuff to ruin his MP uniqueness. Only edge now seems to be the one dodge.
I won't lie. The MP Qub also got powercrept by the MP Nu Funnel Type when it comes to funnel spamming. I would like to see MP Qub get some buffs, maybe they could start with balancers and follow funnel heat+stun accumulation?
ok this this is a monster. it rips away health faster then my support mass production Nu
550 can now be a funnels/incoms fest. Got a match with 2 Engage Gundam INCOM Type, 2 Geara Doga Psycommu and Roswell Jegan teamed together.
I keep seeing this thing in 700 last night, it was as oppressive as Demeter. 650 was better cause Demeter does counter this thing somewhat.
Thank you for the video, awesome as always. Honestly, there are too many funnels these days. 550 isn’t really enjoyable to begin with, now is worse. When will they have a suit that’s has 4 funnels, might as well right?
i wish i could have games like these on PC...i havent been able to find a match or consistent players in months
Honestly a phenomenal Support. That said the Jagd Dogas need more buffs in the Funnel department.
if next week banner is not 4* i'll pick it up.
It totally is
If they gonna nerf this. They have to nerf any OP ms as well. Let's face it. If you don't have any OP ms you can't play in 550 - 700. So this ms definitely a great deal. But why didn't they nerf the op ms instead of release new op ms so the old ms can playable? 😂😂😂
Crystal unicorn better be able to turn off Half of its kit istg.
should I get this Ms or save up for the new year event? i have 100 tokens
You would need 195 tokens to get the guaranteed 4 or 5 star suit when it comes next thursday, so you don't have enough time to save for it. So it might be a good idea to roll for this Engage Gundam instead.
You know a Support is OP when it starts chasing down a meta raid like a cat seeing a mouse.
I mean, alot of Supports actually really super strong at their native cost. Alot of people seem to think Raids are OP due to their bloated kits but don't realize they need these bloated kits to even function properly.
And once you give a bloated kit to a support, including skills, it’s really not about the typing of the suit
second match the whole team went ahead and played a game of "who ever got the least OP mobile suit, their mom's a hoe" 😂😂
i thought the other engage suppory the one w the finger beam hands was broken and het here we have an engage using a modified beefed mk5 backpack setup again them adding non uc suits from alt timelines to the game was a fucking mistake
Well this is what people voted for lol. They wanted no AU suits on console, that's fine, they get an OP UC suit from a mediocre mobile game instead. Maybe console players will show more wisdom in the next survey...
@@avenger1_gbo260idc if its pc or console non uc and alt uc dont belong in this game especially w the shit tier balancing the devs have a taste for also hows this have 4 levels off rip?!? been gone a year this year has made me happy i have been i just enjoy your vids still
This 4 levels thing has been a recent idea from the devs. The Dozle Zaku Zaku II banner worked the same way. It dropped with 4 levels in a 4 stage step up, 30 tokens to guarantee one level, another 30 to guarantee the next, etc. I don't think it is a bad idea if they do it right, since that Dozle Zaku is a pretty funny meme suit at 450 cost LV4. But when it's like this Engage Gundam it just feels like a middle finger to 4 costs at once lol.
@ thats not a horrible idea for step ups ngl but yeah w something this unbalanced yeah no thats cancer funnel suits below 600 was already a bad idea one w heavy stagger and the kit this has fucking wtf are the devs smoking rn ive made less broken shit in breaker 4 and i wipe maps and bosses out in seconds
Yeah, sure was a fucking mistake when they... *checks notes* ...added the Gundam MK.II This game has been horribly busted for a long ass time bud. You're delusional if you think it's the fault of """not maintaining the purity of UC""". Which would omit literally everything that isn't just on-screen and would be a borefest.
that thing really shredded 700 cost like butter lol, it hit like a truck, has small frame compared to other 700 support, and heavy stagger to knock xi out of sky, cant wait to play it on steam ver
I’m so glad I deleted this game
You know what i know this suit may be op but you no what else is op at this cost psycomm test doga, prototype zeta gundam, night seeker v. So im glad we got an 'op' support. If anything this just plays like a lower cost silver bullet.
Okay. This is stupid strong. Arguably for the better. Maybe we'll stop seeing 1-3-1 "Meta" and start seeing 2-2-1. Then Raids will be in a 'better spot' where they aren't reliant on the generals coming out of cover as much. I dunno. Just know I'd rather a strong support than anything.
Law of GBO2 Devs demands that whenever a Support is good, it must be nerfed and followed by a banner of a Raid MS that's twice as strong. Enjoy it while it lasts.
When is the last time that's a thing that actually happened?
I still remember when Delta Gundam got nerfed a sad day
@@ginger-ham4800 I mean the only exception to this law is cannongan
At 650 and 700 how well does it perform when dealing with flyers like Xi, Penelope, Demeter, and the Messers?
Penelope is a fairly good counter, Demeter is as well. I think it does really well against Xi and Messer F01, it has good self defence against F02 but it can't really make any mistakes against it.
@@avenger1_gbo260I figured the Demeter and Penelope would still be the top dogs given how it's nearly impossible to knock them out of the air due to them being raids and their skills Messer would at least need to be more careful with its carpet bombings though as it could get chewed up pretty bad
Where can I find good support players. Everytime my teammates use this they just end up getting bodied by everything in sight and spam "Take the melees! Support Me!"
Because thats exactly the General Unit roles. If you look closely in this video, almost 90% of the time avengers able to snipe general unit. Then the general teammate block enemy's raid. And if you count, only 1 or 2 times that avengers survived enemy's raid breakthrough. Not even Xi gundam. Now, the frustrating part is that, after we Generals do our job, stay close to support, block the raid. Our support fire power not enough lol. Either they cant get good position to shoot (hence staggering teammate) or they keep missing their shot.
Question is can this suit take on the devil of 600?. I want to get the 600 cost but only of it can deal with that yongfavin.
I think it can. It does so much damage that it doesn't even care about the Yonfavin's range damage resist bonus, it can just shoot it out of the sky then go to down.
roswell jegans seething
And what remains of those pesky perfect gundams
Bamco try to release a suit in 550 that doesn't have funnels challenge [Impossible]
This isnt power creep anymore guys theyre just straight power running 😭
More like power sprinting. A common sign for when a game maybe reaching end of life soon.
@@JamesTheTurnbull agreed to the max. They're trying to milk pockets at this point. So the newest suit always has to be the best suit BY far
Is anyone else convinced that the dev team doesn't actually do QA before releasing a new suit every week
Lol for about 4 years now
with weekly releases they probably just do not have the time, the games industry is just wonderful like that
@@MaryPTY I didn't say it explicitly and I didn't include a way to implicitly allude to that, but yeah.
@@MaryPTY It's also a natural consequence of being a gacha with strong power creep. And it's a PvP game, too.
I'm pretty sure releasing overpowered suits is on purpose. When a new suit comes out and it's overwhelmingly strong people will want to roll the full 6~10 steps for it, that's where Bandai make the money. Then in the following monthly patch, they nerf all the OP suits so they can release a new batch of META suits and the cycle continues. It's all for money
