    Great video, Calvin! Appreciate you taking the time on top of everything else, to walk us through it. One point of clarification. While the 2002-2005 factory ECUs are very limited, the 2006 and 2007 P12 is setup for 2 bar out of the gate, including spark and fuel. The E67 used in 2008 and 2009 is even more flexible with scaleable axis on the timing tables. Still, neither will ever be as flexible as MS.

    • @Calvin-Nelson
      @Calvin-Nelson  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah. I found out that I was wrong on the 06-07 ECUs, but I am pretty sure they do not allow rescaling of the fuel and spark table on the 6 cylinder OS in the 08-09.

      I have heard that the 02 engines had issues that were specific to 02. They are very similar to the 2003-2005 engines though. We are currently running an 04 engine in the Stude and recently it went 9s which puts it at around 500whp. We plan to run an 02 in the Fiat, to see if it has issues or not.

I'm currently tuning the 08 4200 swap I did in my Boneville and the stock E67 ECU with an LSA 6.2 Maf sensor I'm already at 12 lbs of boost with no issues. Not hating your decision just curious. I come from the LS world, and keeping the factory VVT and knock sensors (I need to run 91 octane and have very limited access to E85 here) was big for me. And I'm not a pro tuner, so having the stock GM tables was helpful.
