Nice comparison, but for the first 2 minutes of this video every shot of the Mavic 2 Air was in shade, and every shot of the Mavic Pro was in sunshine. To be honest I kind of felt you were favoring the Pro. As you can probably tell I have the MA2, lol. Some lovely shots all the same, thanks for the video.
The Mavic Air camera is horrible compared to the pro complete crap when u put it side by side but the Mavic air 2 is definitely for people who can’t tell the difference .... my eyes saw a camera that’s like a smart phone camera in a drone while the pro had a go pro camera attached . Simply put .... the Mavic air looked like garbage fully blown out and so much noise , bright as hell !! The colours were washed out on the Mavic air 2 and looked like a google pixel 2 camera . Ur getting what you pay for with the smaller sensor the megapixels don’t matter at that resolution
@@bjf131313 lol don't listen to this fool. The mavic air 2 quality performance is pretty great for it's price range. The only difference is that the mavic 2 pro has a bigger censor and uses 10 bit in 4k. Other than that the mavic air 2 is still impressive cause it has HDR in 4k, and with a 48mp sensor for photos. This kid is just fanboying the mavic 2 pro just because its more expensive, other than that the mavic air 2 is such a great drone if your upgrading from a low entry level drone.
Nice video ..but what is your verdict quality wise ????? I am not sure which drone is better so far .....I need help, I already have the Mavic 2 Pro , do I need the Mavic 2 Air???

I'm new to drone ownership. bought the mini and have just taken it back then purchased the MA2 which should arrive tomorrow. excited to learn from you, thanks for creating this channel. ☕😎
I own a Spark, Platinum, Osmo+, Osmo mobile, GoPro7, 8, and Max. I soooo can't wait to be adding the Air 2 to my arsenal!!! It comes Saturday!! Amazing drone for sure .. especially at that price point.
Nice comps. From what I've just seen, my answer is no, on spending the the extra $800 smackers for the 2 Pro..And I've watched tons of video comparisons of drones. In my humble opinion (who only has/has ever owned 1 drone, and its a Parrot Anafi), there is just not enough difference, that can't be color adjusted, to warrant the extra $800. If one wants better than what the Air 2 provides ... I suggest not buying either, and saving your shekels to buy the next step up from the Mavic 2 Pro (whichever you up-choice would be).
Thank you for the great video Brett. It really is amazing how good they can make a half inch sensor these days. The Pro did have better color in my opinion but it wasn’t better by much especially when you consider that it is being produced from a one inch sensor.
I own both the Mavic air 2 and the Mavic 2 Pro and in my opinion the Mavic 2 Pro is the better camera also in windy conditions the Mavic 2 Pro holds up much better. So really the only good reason to buy a Mavic air 2 if you already own a Mavic 2 Pro is the compact size. It is a lot easier to carry with you if your going on a hike or something like that . I recommend the Mavic Mini also. If you do not already own a drone the Mavic Air 2 is a nice beginner drone. Thanks for the info.
No difference at all between the MA2 or the M2P. You really have to be pixel peaking in order to see any difference. Only in low light does the M2P get the edge and it’s very minimal. But in good light conditions both these drones are very equal. 90% of people will not see any difference in quality. I too have both drones. I’m even selling my M2P and keeping the MA2. If you own a mavic 2 pro, dont buy a m2 air. If you dont own a m2 pro, of course for the price.

The A2 more than held it's own in the highlights and shadows. I think it actually held them better than the 2P. Very impressive. Excellent test...
