    The Jpeg on Mavic Mini is a little bit bummer at the beginning for me. However, once I learned how to do merge HDR with different exposure of Jpeg, I start to have a lot of fun with it. Maybe you can recommend HDR Merge (with lightroom) to other Mavic Mini users? As a filmmaker myself, I often find that high-quality resolution is great but it is not the most important thing, but our vision is what matters the most. Great review, looking forward to your future video!

    Thanks, this is a great review!! I'm still really enjoying my Mavic Mini, but the Mavic Air 2 is next on my list!

    As a filmmaker, Mavic 2 Pro is a must for me! I used to have the Mavic Pro before I crashed it during a pre-engagement wedding video....But great review! It helped me out a lot and I'm very thankful for this. Cheers!

    Awesome video and comparison! One of the most important reasons for people to go for Mavic Mini over the Mavic Air 2 is definitely the drone size itself and it's controller! I had the original Mavic Pro before and it's quite heavy to store and carry around backpack. And now if you compare the size of the drone + controller with the Mavic Air 2, there's even bigger difference. So for minimalist like me and people that have a weight/storage concern, choosing Mavic Mini making much more sense.

    Thank you for addressing the sensor size difference between the Air 2 and Mavic 2 Pro. Many reviewers are glossing over this, but it isn't insignificant.

    Very informative and comprehensive video! Do you have a list of the countries where you have to have a license to fly drones?

    Dan another great upload packed with relevant info on these DJI drones. I'm really thinking of the Mavic 2 Pro after seeing this video. Compared to my old (and retired) Phantom 3 this is going to be a quantum leap, thanks for sharing.

      Appreciate that! The M2P would definitely be a massive leap forward compared to the P3. The P3 was actually my very first drone I personally owned so I can absolutely tell you there is no looking back once you get these portable rigs lol! I've got some links to it in the description of this video as well as a film I created in Iceland with that drone!!!

    Thank you Dan for the comparison!
    Really looking forward to the test between the M2Pro and Evo2Pro....day/night/low light video and stills quality, flight characteristics, etc!!!

    Howsit Dan,another great job on the video! I would like to know if the photos captured on the MA2 will produce professional prints on A0 canvas? Thank u

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! So yes as long as the ISO is very low (like 100) and you don't shoot scenes with a ton of deep shadows. That is definitely where these small sensor cameras look the worst and the larger you print the more you will notice

    what are the flight rules for the Mavic air 2? do I need to get a license or register the drone?

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are in the US, you do not need a license to fly unless it is for commercial use although you will need to register it which is super easy and cost like $5...no tests or anything!

      Air 2, I have owned the mavic air 1, mavic 2 pro, mavic air 2, mavic mini, spark, and p4p. Mavic air 2 is my favorite for sure.

    Does the Mavic air 2 need ,drone pilot licence or registration to fly it and recode vídeos in public and take pictures ?

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You do not need a drone licence in the USA for the Air 2 unless you are shooting commercial

    Hi. Good info, but the Mavic air2 dont have side sensors. Only front, rear and bottom I believe. It will crash if your flying sideways

    • @VanDanMedia
      @VanDanMedia 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dude it won’t crash if whoever is flying it flys with care... the front and back sensors have an 84° field of view anyway which is really good

    Mavic Mini is best

    The MA2 is over 250 grams -- don't care.
    The MA2 weighs over twice that of the Mini -- don't care.
    The MA2 costs over twice that of the Mini -- well, yeah, I do care, but . . . .
