I use water with a few drops of rosemary and few drops of oil every other day and my scalp feels amazing n my hair loves it! I’m looking into getting a steamer too. Everyone I talk to says it’s the best thing ever so we will see…

I like how you have shorter lil curly Locs in the front, I got nappy 4c hair so that never could happen lol
They’re only curly when I twist them onto a neighbor or do a Bantu knot lol

i’m about to start my loc journey! when washing my hair can i still use the shampoo i used when washing my loose natural hair? is it okay to use conditioner?? i never see anyone talk about conditioner but deep conditioning is a MUST for my loose natural hair
I used to but stopped due to build up. My spray+oils+steamer combo does the hydrating for me

so far ima full month in and didn’t take my twist out but what I notice is some hair came out the twist do I must put them back in or is that normal i think it happen cause my hair was very itchy one day and I think I itch it much which I think pulled out some hair from the root and I accidental forgot to wear my durag a few times i am trying to freeform btw idk if it necessary now I gotta get a retwist or if I can just keep going or if I have to start over
leave your hair alone, it's totally normal. things start to look worse before they look better, that's where the commitment comes in, don't try and retwist the loose hair because all of that frizz is needed to form the loc and if you manipulate that then it could affect the end result and you won't know how it will until your hair is totally mature. frizz is necessary and so are the buds! your hair is tangling like it is meant to
