In this video I will be showing you all how I wrap my locs with yarn. Quick and easy tutorial for the visual learners👌🏽Any craft store should have what you need. I got my yarn from Michael's. Hope this helps!
You’ll need:
Yarn in your preferred color & size 🧶
Scissors ✂️
Patience 😌

I just found your channel three days before going to a loc specialist. So thankful I did. As a licensed cosmetologist and also natural for almost 5 years I trust myself before her. My go to style was always two strand twist so this initially is my why to starting my loc lover lifestyle!! Two questions. Did you use blue magic to start your loc journey? Also could you please do a video on how you use your interlock tool? Thank you 😊
That's so awesome I'm glad my videos reminded you that you got this! The bluemagic, nah that was a brief moment in very recent history lol. Typically I use oils. When I started I was using shea moisture and aloe vera gel but eventually let all that go. As for the interlocking tool, I only use it once in a while when I need to close the end of a loc I opened up while trying to hack out lint lol😅

Can you tell us the brand of yarn that you use? It doesn’t look like regular yarn.
Sure, it's "Coton Perlé". Found it in the yarn aisle of my local craft store. There's a whole bunch of shapes/colors/sizes✨
do you wash your hair with it still on
Sure do! Only take them out when I’m tired of the look
