  • A common complaint in the loc journey (especially in the beginning) is the frizz that tends to take over your head. People ask "how the hell do to I get rid of it?", "should I leave it alone?", "Is it okay to trim it?"... I'll answer all those questions and give you a thorough demonstration of how to tame the frizz without having to do a retwist or style. Hope this helps!

I'm 5 months in and I started this as a method of retwisting and it saves time and it lasts MUCH longer than palm roll. I was skeptical until I saw your video and said to myself "if it's ok for Sammy, then it's ok for me!"...LOL! I don't know if you remember, but I was in one of your lives and you encouraged me to start this journey! Thank you so much!

Also, I prefer the frizzy look to the freshly twisted for myself. I have thin hair and it gives me a fullness I really enjoy. Even though I have a preference, this whole loc journey has given me a new appreciation and love affair with my hair!

I love this method! I'm just starting out with braid lcs, and the frizz! Locksmithing allows me to tame that frizz even on my short locks while I'm focused on my hair growing out. Thanks so much lil' mama.

I'm subscribing to your channel! I'm loving my locs and I reached my 1 year locversary in September. Ty for that tip about not trimming the frizz. I cancelled an appointment with a loctician who told me she would trim my locs to control my frizz. I was like uh no way lol😅

Thank u so much for this. I did my first retwist last month & I didn’t like it cause of all the fly aways. I tried the loc tool but didn’t like how it was snagging on my hair. I did this on 2 of my locs & OMG what a big difference. My next retwist should be so much better. Thanks a million. ❤️
