Scott Link I have everything they make except for the new valance (obviously) none of there emissions off stuff....yet and there intake cause I bought a Banks when I got my 19 in 18, there parts are quality at its finest, and when I do decide to delete it’s all gonna be parts from them, you keep up this great content anything l5p stuff is awesome not to many channels out there doing it, can’t wait for your next video.

Work I meant to add
It’s easier to just remove the bumper...remove the front grill (5 min) then there are 6 bolts which hold the bumper on. Then you can access everything much easier.
Can confirm. Just installed this. Dropping the bumper made it very easy. Only complaint about the product is that the towhook access is bad. The stock vallence is recessed around the tow hooks. I cut the part beneath the tow hook so that i can still thread a soft shackle into it. This would be especially bad if you also ran a bumper spacer.

I put a new bumper on my bosses L5P truck and it was super easy. 15 minutes and also changed the bottom plastic piece.
15 minutes to remove the bumper, also nice job 👍

Bought this part and started valance removal and realized gm has begun over engineering the way a piece of plastic is attached. This video helps but it’s still gonna be a big pain in the ass

I have a 2018 Silverado with chrome front and rear bumper. How do I delete any suggestions?
Not many mechanics have the forethought to reverse nuts and bolts or clips what have you. When we did aircraft repairs and modifications engineering told us it was OK to do it. Good Video. What year truck was this example of?

Thank you! 6.5 BDS lift. And at the time these tires were 35s. Currently running 37s now. Lots of vids on the channel if your interested. Should help answer some questions. Taking off the bumper is prob easier looking back. My bumper spacing video is prob the most helpful for that. Good luck.

I have a 2018 Silverado with chrome bumpers front and back. How do I delete the chrome any suggestions?
A lot of people will vinyl wrap the chrome with black. It’s cost effective. About $200 do do front at rear.
Currently $265 for this piece in black 🤯…Guess I’ll be cutting my oem valance.

How did you get the big support bracket hanging down off? My 2 top bolts for it are covered by the trans cooler mount.
As best as I remember I just unbolted it. I remember the top 2 bolts were a pain. Mine sucked even more because my dumb ass backed them out with a ratcheting wrench until it bottomed out. So it took me a while to correct that mistake. I know that’s probably not much help.
@@linksgarage1985 haha. Same problem I had. I took the bolts out of the trans cooler mount and was able to squeeze the wrench loose. Thanks for the reply. I ordered the one without tow hook holes. 👊🏻👍🏻

After watching I got one, but where you have the rubber piece that lifts up to allow for the bolt removal mine is different it has a hard plastic piece that won’t lift up
Mine was not rubber. It was a very thin price of plastic. I was able to bend it enough to get the bolts out. Good luck!
I wish I could show you a picture, the two blocks on either side of the auxiliary cooler that have the sensors in the middle of them. Mine it’s all one piece and it goes over those 4 bolts that I need to take out

How thick of material is it? Will a bird dent it? what do you do for a front license plate bracket if you're in a state you have to run one by law
The material is thick enough to smack a pelican comfortably.
And not sure about the plate. You could just drill and bolt it.

@@linksgarage1985 I dont know if I have told you before but we have very similar trucks. Mine is the 2018 Midnight edition. Many of our mods are the same too. I dont have after market wheels or a lift, but did put 33x12's on the stock black wheels. wcfab intake and turbo inlet horn, cold side intercooler pipe, wcfab trans bypass plug and trans cooler grill, banks derringer and iDash. Though I am looking to the full ECM/ TCM tune. Just dont know if that should be what I do next or doing a built trans with Wehrli. I am trying to make a 700-750hp emissions compliant truck.
