Sucks to see it go, but the new/old owner has a cool story for it now. I was nearly able to have a similar story for my first XJ. Hate that this isn’t coming back to wheel with us here in NC but it’s an opportunity for a new build
I'm sad for you brother. I just acquired a TJUR with the six speed manual. I think you and I are at opposite ends of the happy spectrum right now. I understand where you're at in your life, where priorities can't be ignored.
Hey I know they sell this kit for alignments, like what you're using, but after putting the tires back on and lowering the jack, the suspension settles, won't the toe change a little? A little, like maybe 1/8 or 2/8's"? I think about how alignment shops don't remove the tires when doing an alignment.
Oh yeah looks like they'r readily available at a lot of places. It's a nice to have and not too expensive. And I don't have to ask the gf to help, nor do I have to explain what I need her to do. No more holding the tape measure by a second person. lol

Going to focus on the YJ once we are settled somewhere. Maybe end up with 4 doors again at some point to take the kids places easier.
Crazy stuff.

@@66gosser the suspension is under load during the alignment because its held up by the jack, so it stays the same
@@HardEarnedBacon Okay good call out. Didn't think of that. Where did you buy it?
