The LJ is coming along nicely. Quality parts and a clean, rust free Jeep make for a fun project. Salt belt TJers must cry when they see a western desert TJ. 😆
Good to see our old friend persuasion making an appearance. That front D30 with the Ox housing is so damn purdy, can't wait to have a similar one in my XJ
Dude that thing looks killer man! Again, that axle looks great and everything done i love it. Great job 😁 Definitely some inspiration to get ready and get going on my Lj! Just need that 240v ran in my garage, Once i get some time and money ill start tearing my garage down to do so! Atleast my axle is prepped and clean just waiting to get parts installed! Any sort of clearance issues with that Truss at your set bumps?Im only planning to do a 3 inch lift 1.25 Body, but im wondering if the truss would smack something at full stuff, especially with hiline fenders ! Id like to do a truss since i would already be there doing all that work ! But many on the wrangler forum seem to strongly disagree against a truss🙄.....I'd atleast do the C Gussets and maybe weld the swaybar links to the C's since black magic brakes sells a kit for it and call it a day! Just brewing up ideas before i pull the trigger and get goin
Thanks! I don't see any possible clearance issues with the truss with my setup. The truss adds 3.5" to the top of the axle tube but my crank pulley and oil pan and everything is 5" higher than stock. Once I get the 35s on I will flex it out and see what hits and add more bumpstop if needed.
For the lowers I set them to 16 1/16" as recommended by Skyjacker, for the uppers I just turned them till I got the pinion angle I wanted so not sure what the final measurement for those is.
I like that comment about Skyjacker not trying to re-invent the Johnny joint.Every company that has copied the John Currie flex joint thinks their version is better...LOL...

Haha yeah I definitely appreciate the climate when working underneath these things.

Almost had to get the blue wrench for the sway bar links.

@@HardEarnedBacon Awesome, well let me know how it all pans out :)
Great video. If you don't mind. What were your measurements on your control arms?

Cool. Thanks

Exactly haha, I'll stick with the OG
