- At long last, Mega Man 11 has arrived! And because the soundtrack is such a critical component of each of the Blue Bomber's adventure, the Nintendo Force team figured we'd do the Internet a service and upload each new Robot Master stage theme - extended to, of course, 11 minutes! Have a listen, then debate in the Comments below about how each one stacks up with the Mega Man OSTs of the past!

Tundra Man: freezing winds
Torch Man: flames
And Impact Man: the banging and clanging of metal construction equipment

With each game Robot Masters are closer to becoming Trasnsformers.
Mega Man & Bass - Ground Man, the bro turns into an excavation machine
Mega Man 7 - Turbo Man, the bastard literally transforms into a car.
Mega Man 9 - Galaxy Man, who can sorta transform into a UFO.
Mega Man 10 - Nitro Man, turns into a motor cycle.
Mega Man 11 - Impact Man, is literally a Constructicon.
Well, impact man is made up of mutiple entities, so kinda gives off Deavstor vibes.

That, this theme kinda reminds me of Cold Man and Cut Man's themes.
This guy is real neat. He is also composed of more than one machine working together which is kinda cool to me. 3 different robots in his base form with 3 different names and personality’s come together to be Impactman. No wonder he sounds like an Autobot sometimes. He is a combiner!

Since the pile drivers attack you throughout the level, I think Impact Man is the only robot master that attacks you, before the boss fight.

1st= kill a lot of friendlys
2nd= try to not get hit since you'll more likely have low amounts of hp the whole run
3rd= try to get as many altars as possible since they'll benefit you greately
4th= try to do stall runs

Definitely my favorite Robot Master theme. Out of, like, all of them. I love that you can sporadically hear pickaxes clashing against rock in the background. And hell, it's one of the longest themes in the series, second only to Dynamo Man I think. God, it's so good.
Come to think it, the pickaxes in the background are kinda like the mechanical percussion in Fire Man and Quick Man's themes.

Then again, so does anyone capable of separating and recombining their body parts.
You're kind of viewing it from the wrong direction. Impact Man isn't a robot that can split up into three pile-drivers. He's three pile-drivers, the Impact Bros., that combine into a robot. :)
And he's basically fighting you the ENTIRE stage

I honestly for the life of me dont get why so many are complaining about this ost. Its awesome, its upbeat, and catchy as hell.
They wanted the soundtrack to be more rock oriented, which was something that was only reserved for the X series.
I think their biggest gripe is a repetitive use of same instruments and/or motifs.
Also, there's only one single Wily stage theme. Even MM1 had two, and beyond MM7 every Wily stage had a theme.

One of my favorite Mega Man themes. I love the rising beat and industrial sounds mixed in. It's just a really cool and catchy theme. Impact Man himself has a great design too.

I've noticed something. I think some of the robot masters in MM11 are paying homage to the original 6 in MM1, most likely to commemorate 30 years of the franchise. For instance, Torch Man pays homage to Fire Man, Tundra Man to Ice Man, Fuse Man to Elec Man, Impact Man to Guts Man, Blast Man to Bomb Man, etc. Plus, it has the same story line in where Wily takes Light's creations, though one would say that same applies to MM9 as well. Just saying, something I noticed is all.

I can see it. Impact Man’s theme has a chirpy, upbeat, innocent quality much like Cut Man’s theme.
