- At long last, Mega Man 11 has arrived! And because the soundtrack is such a critical component of each of the Blue Bomber's adventure, the Nintendo Force team figured we'd do the Internet a service and upload each new Robot Master stage theme - extended to, of course, 11 minutes! Have a listen, then debate in the Comments below about how each one stacks up with the Mega Man OSTs of the past!
In this video, the fiery fighter of the enflamed forest Torch Man presents his music of choice. Does it light your fire, or is it about as hot as an untoasted marshmallow? Let us know!

I always loved that Torch Man doesn’t have a dramatic entrance, instead he just stands there, menacingly waiting for you, then slowly turning around to fight you when you arrive.
The dude knows Torch-justu, of course he isn’t gonna just show it it off. I mean his menacing turn around is enough to give “Haha I’m in danger” vibes

Best stage in the game. Whoever thought of making the fire-themed Robot Master's stage a campsite should get a raise.
It's kinda unique. Even though Burner Man did a forest stage before, but it wasn't on fire.

@@nintendodude7143 I also notice that out of all of the megaman stages IN THE ENTIRE SERIES, thsi stage has no verticial segments at all. Its extremely linear which works fine for the segments where you ahve to outrun the fire storm.

I love how much attention to detail there is in his fight. Unlike Magma Dragoon, whose fighting game references boil down to having the shoto toolkit, the fight against Torch Man feels like a legitimate match against an oppressive zoner. He has a very strong fireball game, his divekick and roundhouse send you flying away from him so that he can continue harassing you from fullscreen, his movement adds a flair of unpredictability to his attacks like he's actually playing neutral and trying apply mixups, Power Gear feels like he's burning through the meter with EX fireballs and supers, even the strategy of dealing with him is to get as close to him as possible because that's where his attacks are the easiest to dodge (like how most zoners have lacking defensive options).
If he were a legitimate fighting game character, I'd main him.
The fact that you used actual fighting game terminology is just amazing. Definitely my favorite Robot Master!

Easily the hardest robot master stage in the game. It's short (having only one stage checkpoint), but those fire wall segments will open up the gateway to a new hell.

I've actually gotten through the fire segments in this stage without the speed gear and without tundra man's weapon...it was rough

this is one spooky sounding theme, but i guess a flaming forest is something to be scared about..... (especially when the flames one shot you)

This stage is a pain without the Tundra Storm, but this is one of the best stage themes I've ever heard.

I think the stage is great. Think about it. You're running away from a giagantic forest fire. It puts a good challenge on the classic series megaman games. And i like a good challenge when it comes to megaman.
You can use Speed Gear and the Tundra Storm to outrun the Forest Fires
Torch Man is also a part-time bellman at a very classy hotel.

Torch Man's level gives me less of a "I'm going to murder you" mood and more of a "Yeah I'll just let a forest fire melt you down" mood
This is the level that made me realize how useful the speed gear actually is
Im not getting a "Fire" from this theme, more like "It Night time, bring a torch and hope not to die"
It's kinda supposed to be scary because of the fact that the trees are on fire and your stuck it the area until you defeat Torch man. Plus there is always the instant death fire wall
There are also some sections that have owls with gaslamps in their bellies, and if you kill them the whole screen goes dark.
And I think that perfectly fits the stage. There are some segments where you need to use a Lamper (That's the lantern owl) to find your way through the stage.

That's what I like about It though. The music Is unexpected, because It's not your normal "EVERYTHINGS BURING ALIVE" type music. Same with Bounce Man, because I was expecting something goofy and silly, but got something cute and bubbly, and I appreciate that a lot. It can be good to be unexpected at times.

The Unforgiving Wall of Fire!
The only part that puzzles me in this stage is the couple of shielded cannons (Forgot their name) hidden in tents in the very last fire wall room.
I always damage boost through them because waiting for them to open up doesn't seem like a good idea. (Talking about buster-only no-gear)
You have to take the upper path of tents (where there is no shielded cannon), then the lower path, and finally, the upper path again.
This song goes harder than Hard Man.

Nah. He’s a Persona. Not gonna lie, he looks like a combination of the two primary personas of Tatsuya from Persona 2. He has the overall body shape of Vulcanus and the color palette of Apollo.

This stage is so Vancouver-ish, so canadian atmosphere. It feels like a night incursion in the capilano bridge sky tree park in the forests outside Vancouver - totem poles included!

FALL, TO THE FIST OF FLAME!
0:00-0:23 is Mega Man looking around and seeing the damage the devastating fire is causing. The rest of the theme until it loops is him plunging into the burning forest to save the day. This is the best theme out of the eight robot masters and the fact it made me imagine that in my head is the cherry on top. My only question is, why does the stage have this Native American motif going on?

Both are pretty insane ideas for a fire stage.
Yeah but the irony of both of them is that Flame man changes his oil all the time basically killing his source, and Torch man is a forest ranger who teaches kids about campfires and how not to burn down a forest, which he does so we got.

In my version and my friend's, I always see him as a strong, wise and honest robot who wants the best of every one and fights with justice if world peace is ruined. And of course, he doesn't like when anyone dares with Tundra Man, he's a total yandere. XD

Am I the only one who used the Speed Gear + Upgrade that allowed you to move normally with Tundra Storm? Because that what helped me out a lot in this Stage.
Ah yes. This beat perfectly sums up my camping experience. Flames, trees, that one annoying pest at every spot, how I love being a pyromaniac
Editor's Note: In all seriousness, I think Torch Man is an underappreciated Robot Master. He's got the best robot look for a fire bot(yes, Burner Man does suck) the fire is everywhere I think it should be, even without his fire, he's still a martial artist legend, and he's just an all around awesome robot
