Dude, I think I just noticed something no one else has pointed out yet. At 3:45 in the video, when X teleports into Sting Chameleon's stage, look at the tree tops to the very far right. For a split second you will see a Kirbo smile appear on the tree tops. It's super fast and just noticed it now.
The most realistic thing about this is how he didn't get any of the other armor upgrades on his first playthrough. I had no freaking idea there was really anything beyond the legs as a kid (even though the damn box art clearly shows him in a whole set of armor.
That's a fair point, mine was the same way. It took us forever to find the armor. And you know they always overdid things (or underdid them) with box art so you really couldn't trust it.
Zero gives you his buster if you don't have it by the end of the game. And the boots are unavoidable, so it's pretty obvious you weren't being mislead.
Using the speed boots as a reason to not have to animate 5 hours of walking

I love how in this video, everyone underestimates X: Zero, the hunters, Vile
The only one that actually compliments him is Sigma: "I see you managed to get here all by yourself, very impresive!"
X is essentially a baby reploid in the beginning of Megaman X. Zero even goes so far as to say "you're not strong yet, but you can become even stronger than me some day" and by the end of the game you are significantly stronger than Zero.
And that was a line from the game.
The theme of many of the games is that everyone underestimates X. In X2 one of the things the X hunters say in the cutscene after the opening mission is "everyone that underestimated him is dead." X being underestimated or exploited for his kindness is a continuing theme in the games.
Sigma is one of the very few, along with Dr. Cain and Zero, who understand his potential and has nearly the entire time.

Which games did he voice zero? The X4 one, the X7 one, or the X8/Command Mission/MHX one? (The first two were BAD imo.) The third one is Zero's current voice actor since we haven't gotten a MMX game since MHX except for the mobile gacha game X-Dive which I haven't played and don't even know if it's voiced in english or if they got new actors for the characters.

Best sort of VAs are those who are willing to do silly stuff with roles they're known for. The two that pop to mind instantly are David Hayter (doing the dummy thicc meme in particular) and D.C. Douglas doing a lot of silly stuff, mostly as Wesker.
So I just realized what TM did here... Spark Mandrill is weak to Shotgun Ice, so X shot him, which in gang slang means he iced him, with a gun.
