Although IGN has been very questionable when it comes to judgment (take a look at Cinko515's reply) I don't think they were ENTIRELY wrong. While yes Megaman 11 soundtrack sounds good, it's only memorable when you take a step back and only listen to the songs by themselves that they become memorable; as after I'm done playing the stages I can't really recall how the song went so I often had to come to youtube and listen to the track separately just so I could go "oh yeah I know this." So, yes I find them a little generic.

I agree, they're not wrong :( The only robot master themes that stuck in my head after playing were Bounce Man, and Torch Man's opening riff. Not so with the previous 10 games.
I opted to have Blast Man be the first robot master that I beat in this game. Why? Because I felt that he stood out to me the most. Let's just say... I REGRET NOTHING!
I started out with blast man on my first playthrough. After finishing the game, I decided to play fuse Man’s stage on my second game file on casual mode
From a critical standpoint I’d say the opening melody (0:03 to 0:17) is the best part as it feels very mischievous yet catchy. Then it kind of goes a different direction with a melancholic bridge which is fine. However I feel like if the song would’ve had more sections like that first melody it would’ve felt more smooth and fitting. Still very upbeat and definitely a great part of the soundtrack
I always had the theory that the themes of the Robot Masters sound depending on the personality they have and it seems Blast Man theme confirms it to me, it really fits very well with their personality!
It's been like that for most games: Cold themed masters like Ice, Cold, Chill, Frost, Blizzard, and Tundra get somber or soft tunes Bomb themed robots like Bomb, Burst, and Blast get upbeat, instrument heavy tunes Electric themed robots like Elec, Dynamo, and Fuse get sharper tones in tunes And etc.
Palette: This place is an amusement park that was closed permanently 10 years ago due to unstable safety complaints. It's also known as the "Maverick dump". This should be a dangerous mission, but I'll do my best to help out.
According to the gallery, all of the Robot Masters come from different manufacturers. Blast Man specifically comes from B.B. Bomb Company. It only credits Light as building Block Man, which is weird cus I thought all 8 were made by Light. I guess he just had a hand in the schematics?
Well, you have to remember, Mega Man and Roll are the only two Robot Masters Dr. Light privately "owns". It's why the expiration date deal from 9 didn't affect them, Dr. Light's the only one who can determine when they've ran out their warranty, and since they're his surrogate children, the answer to that is "never". All the others he's made, he's made for other locations and services. So, B.B. Bomb company would be Blast Man's owner, not his maker. In fact, the only two games I realize where the Robot Masters weren't the make of Dr. Light, Wily or Cossack were 6 and 10. In 6, they were submitted from around the world for the tournament, and in 10, they were just random Robot Masters around the world who'd caught Roboenza.
Doesn't Dr. Light also own Auto? But yes, they can definitely appear again, as they are not creations of Dr. Wily. And on that, there's a weird error with them being labeled in the stage start screen as DWM, implying they're Dr. Wily's creations, despite the fact that they aren't. Although, they were modified with Dr. Wily's Double Gear system...
We are already 2 man, the theme of Blast Man, Impact Man, Block Man and Bounce Man are very catchy (but my favorites are those of Blast Man and Impact Man) in terms of music. As for robots design, I'm left with Bounce Man, Blast Man again, Acid Man and Tundra man.

The reason why they're cyborgs, is that 3 pictures on deviant art, if you're lucky enough to find them, show them without their hoods on, revealing their faces, fully visible to anyone's eyes.
I like that Blast Man kinda looks like he’s wearing headphones because people wear headphones due to bomb explosions being extremely loud. Hints why Blast Man is always shouting all the time.

Not a single soul here realize that the small robots are based on Shocker minions from Kamen Rider, and that is stage is a shout out to old school toku. They even yell "EEE" and try to do a Rider kick. >_>
I just beat him an hour ago. First ever Robot Master I ever beat! (Newer fan). I'm really excited. I have been a Mega Man since about 2014 ish, (grew up a Sonic fan) but didn't get to play any games (except Power Fighters) till I got a Switch.
If I had a nickel for every time capcom’s mixed dark blue and light green with explosions I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice

I've been a fan for even less time - it's only since October of 2018, right around the time Mega Man 11 came out.
