- This soundtrack plays in the Cold Man stage in the game, but remember this is the super nintendo version, not the gameboy advanced version. But still, this song is great, if you want to play it, here it is. The music does sound pretty dad with ita melancholy high pitched notes
Normally I don’t care for ice level themes in Mega Man games, but dear Sunstar is this song the exception.
The music from all the old school Mega Man games (probably up through X for me) was so cool and the earliest instances I can recall of me properly paying attention to the music in video games and it getting stuck in my head for days on end. Some of the catchiest level and boss themes ever crafted came from this franchise. I never played Mega Man & Bass (I never owned an SNES, so I only played games from the system when they were re-issued later on or via emulator), but this sounds delightful.
Yeah, the franchise definitely has a lot of really great songs, especially this game’s. Mega Man & Bass is pretty hard, but it is fun like the rest.

As with every megaman game I played, the music is what kept me going despite all the deaths and game overs it gave me, and cold man remains the king of all the themes I've listened too

Yo this theme brings back so much memories. There was a flash game I always played on my PC when I was 5 and this theme was in it. Best mega man theme in my opinion

This is the only track in the game where I prefer the SNES version.
I prefer all the SNES versions over GBA since GBA sounds awful to me soundwise for many games.
@@Wumbology378because of there being only 2 sound channels on the GBA, there's 4 on the SNES even tho combined they still are outperformed in sound quality by the GBA'S 2,with only 2 they got to get extremely creative to make complex music and sometimes compress alot of instruments

While some people may find it out of place for a Mega Man game; Cold Man’s stage theme is actually great for a game like this.

I almost thought the solo in this song was using the mega man x guitar when I first played this game
I mean they do sound similar, makes sense cause they're both overdrive guitars At least one of the X1 guitars is a overdrive one. I always thought it was like a mix of the X1 distortion guitar and the overdrive guitar.
