- At long last, Mega Man 11 has arrived! And because the soundtrack is such a critical component of each of the Blue Bomber's adventure, the Nintendo Force team figured we'd do the Internet a service and upload each new Robot Master stage theme - extended to, of course, 11 minutes! Have a listen, then debate in the Comments below about how each one stacks up with the Mega Man OSTs of the past!

This theme is literally perfect because of its intent:
It literally builds up in almost every way, including your thoughts on the theme itself.
Probably because of how catchy it is.

As someone who's been in love with Mega Man soundtracks for a VERY long time, I at first wasn't impressed with 11's, but boy has it grown on me FAST. I recall a time just a few weeks ago when I thought this very theme in the demo wasn't all that but now it's one of my favorites.

At first I was skeptical, but the experimentation was really great, I love this direction for the soundtrack.
I feel like this soundtrack fits in more with the stages in this game more than the style of the older games, honestly.
Like, if I heard magnet Man’s theme in Block Man’s stage, it wouldn’t feel right

If you ask me, if you put most of the songs in 8 but form, it would most likely remind you of Shovel Knight songs, kind of.
I really like this a lot, I love seeing Mega Man evolve, it only took him 30 years!

I actually kind of find it sad that there are no SEGA Genesis remixes of this OST (Menu theme from Savaged Regime aside). I mean c'mon! This OST is literally synthesizer heaven! The Genesis should easily make something great out of this!

Ok, that's your opinion, but, the best theme of MM11 are Fuse man and Acid Man theme.
My favorite is Acid Man, with Fuse Man and Block Man coming pretty close.

amazing how the theme captivates or grasps the feeling of building-up the momentum like how Block Man builds up every structure with his power. I guess Capcom is back again to its golden age of music compositions.

Also, something I REALLY really appreciate about this game in particular is BlockMan's feature in the game's intro cutscene.
You learn that he's a real force of personality right off the bat. It's so great.
In previous games, the robot masters were never really given a chance to shine before the stage select. You never got a feel for their personality (this is another reason why I'm all on board for voice acting).
Which is such a shame, 'cause they all have a story. Seriously, all of them. The CD Data in MM&B doesn't exist for no reason.
But, in order to get that info, you'd have to go scrounging around looking for CDs, and that's too much hassle for someone who's not over-invested in this kind of stuff.
So I'm just happy to see BlockMan (or any robot master, really; if it were Acid or Fuse or whoever in his place, that'd be cool too) being acknowledged as an individual, not just part of a set.
(The gallery also helps, by the by. It prevents you from having to work just to learn trivia, which I'm sure more than a few people are grateful for haha.)
incontinentalbreakfast This is why I like MMPU. It gave the original Robot Masters personalities of their own. The voice acting also makes Dr.Lights whole “robots with independent thoughts” thing more relatable.
Mega Man X4 did this with magma dragoon. And while that is nice, one thing I do dislike about it is it gives only ONE robot master/maverick all the personality, in turn making the rest even more "meh".
In 11's case though, I mean, Block Man's design isn't all too "exciting" compared to rest of the RM's so it does build him up in a good way compared to rest. But still, I'd like to see an MM game where all robot masters are able to shine somehow.
Fuse man has a pet rabbit named watt. I just think everyone needs to know that.

This theme plays when Block Man realizes he's the most popular robot in the game.
Due to their designs, wouldn't Impact Man's Pile Driver do more damage on Block Man, and not Blast Man's Chain Blast?

Explosives destroy stones/bricks like it’s nothing. Just the shockwaves alone could possibly level an entire cathedral. People get their intestines ruptured from being too close to a shockwave.

I really like this level's theme, bounce man, and Wily's castle the most. They're all cool though.
I know each of these stages take place, Block Man - Stone Temples, Acid Man - Idk, Impact Man - Construction Site, Bounce Man - Athletic Center, Fuse Man - Idk either, Tundra Man - Museum, Torch Man - Campsite, and Blast Man - Amusement Park.

And to think they were holding back on us with the 8-bit soundfonts this goes HARDER THAN A BRICK
I just wish it mirrored the intro more throughout the whole track. In the beginning it feels so vast and open, like the stage does for most of it, but then it kinda takes the melody to a somewhat generic EDM track, which I don't hate per se but I would have loved to have a much more unique theme than that. Maybe if I end up remixing this I'll have to take that into account. Still absolutely love the bits out of this game

I love the fact Block Man canonically made up a fictional language and wants to build ancient-styled temples and buildings.
All of 11’s robot masters have a ton of personality, but he takes the cake.
