    Deadass that was one of the most beautiful triangle I've ever seen.

    Awesome triangle setup. Whenever someone puts the arm around to block the choke there is a trick to get the arm across your body. Just extend your hips up, then as you are coming back down you can drag the arm to the opposite side without much resistance. I never see anyone do this but I learned it long ago in Gracie Barra NM.

    That "cut an angle" was key. I'll remember that. 👍

    Can anyone explain the last bit of re-locking the legs to overcome the defense of the opponent's hand underhooking your hip?

    • @JoshRichBJJ
      @JoshRichBJJ  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It lets you cut more of an angle, which gets your leg more on their throat

    Nice triangle bro! Also when he defends like that. You can get the TeePee Choke. Unlock Extend your feet to the ceiling and hug your knees with Gabel grib then squeeze..

    why looking for triangle if you have an arm lock
    for when ever i grab the shoulder crunch I try finishing thr arm lock from there
    if i can't get it then I look for other options

      This looks like it's happening at the tail end of a long roll based on how sweaty his opponent is. They've probably been at it for a while and his opponent got lazy and was caught slipping.

    That cutting the angle is incredibly nasty, no one talks about it, but if you pull the head and the scoop the leg, or even the far side hip, then good luck getting a chance to breathe
