Same situation here, humbling experience. Only shows how much you have to learn and all the weak areas you have the opportunity to improve on to supplement your lifting.

@@lphieshake I stopped lifting after I started training jiujitsu. down to 3 days a week. Would rather train 6 days a week.

@@traceygresham6845 Indeed! I just got serious into BJJ, but I have 20 years in Capoeira and I’m the rank of Professor. These movements feel very natural to me as well. The technical stand up is basically one of the many variations of “negativa” in Capoeira, so it came very easily.

Coming from a fairly successful life long Boxing/Kickboxing back ground with plenty of silver ware, I now find myself in a combat sport that I don't know my ass from my elbow and am continually gasing out, as I am still in striking mode and on top of that, have no BJJ repertoire to go to either.

Heavy skateboarder, and held a lot of backyard fights with our friends and other "clicks" growing up. I'm on my second month in BJJ, and yeah. I'm decent for being so early, but I get to a spot where, I just feel stuck. Not sure where to move from there. Or just getting frustrated my hips won't move "here", or my leg gets trapped "there" thanks for the stuff, we do these most every class!

Yeah, it's crazy.. I had my first class as well.. None of this was really taught to me, I was just told to grapple with people there.. I don't have experience

I love these drill videos! They're so helpful. I just wish I didn't have to scroll so much to find them. Could you make a playlist of just these drill videos that you do? They are so helpful and would make finding them so much easier. Keep up the amazing work!
