Clever fix, but I doubt that inner hub will stay put with a press fit and 4 10mm bolts!

I still think they should have welded it at least on the inside. Your betting all your hopes on those 4 soft bolts 😮
The bolts are there just to stop the threads from undoing. All the force is being carried on the 2 larger threads, it's a lot weaker than the original casting but it's a passable repair if you want to keep the machine working while waiting for a new part.

@@sergeyefremov2799 Hi Sergey, the component looks to be cast iron, and it is a difficult material to weld repair. I have a lot of experience with repairing cast iron from stick welding, braze welding, hot metal spray (my favorite way to repair cast iron). A weld repair in never as strong as the original part and it's the same for how they have repaired this hub with threads. Just keep the machine working until a new part is available. I hope this helps you understand why they did the repair the way they did.

Я подумал, что ремонтную переходную шайбу (пластину) они делали из обычной листовой стали, к ней сварка как раз бы и прихватилась. Спасибо за Ваш ответ! Но, все равно я соглашаюсь с большинством комментаторов, что не выглядит надёжно

Rather than trying to locate a part which highly not available or have to pay 5000 times more and has to wait 5 months to ship from Italy or Japan. $5 and only waited 5 hours and you have a complete new part which will last for another 5 years. RESPECT.

If you had these "skills" where you are, your country's life expectancy rate would drop. Hack repairs like this from ignorant "mechanics" kill people on a daily basis in 3rd world countries.
Guaranteed we never see it put into use. Instant fail. And the surface where the roller bearings ride was ruined by the chuck jaws being overtightened. The part will never stand the stress of a 14 ton truck plus the payload.

I was thinking why don't they go to a salvage yard and get one as it has to be cheaper than all this machining and it would be stronger, But they fix everything so they probably don't have a salvage yard which leads me to believe they should buy a new spindle Assy which bring us back full circle to fixing it, Nice machine work But it would worry me that an overloaded truck was coming my way with that kind of fix, your relying on 6 threads and four bolts to keep it from unthreading.🤔
IF THE REPAIR FAILS WE WILL BLAME THE MACHINIST AND NOT THE FARMER WHO TAKES THE TRACTOR AND TRIES TO DO TEN TIMES MORE WORK THAN IT WAS DESIGNED FOR. DITTO ON TRUCKS.

It wasn't constant care and attention to handling that broke that spindle! This was a pretty descent repair on a nasty failure, a little dissapointed they didn't use grub screws instead of cutting plain bolts but I guess you use what you can get.
So now that he "repaired" the knuckle, when do we get to see him work on the spindle?

have you seen how the drivers load out the tucks.
25:30 showing a screw-in mod does not mean its fixed also without welding anything is going to fail, as this is the front main-wheel hub for steering, which has the most stresses of force on the whole vehicle! Obviously they no longer make this part!
