This truck is an insurance write off and structurally beyond repair. It shouldn't be put back on the roads, despite the unbelievable craftmanship that transformed this wreck into a beauty. It looks nice, but still is a wreck. Just plain irresponsible and dangerous!
The frame and support elements cannot be repaired, only replaced with new ones. Metal is heated and forged (bent) and has a structurally different structure and has completely different parameters to new steel. That's why such repairs are not permitted in Europe. If you have an accident with such a car, the insurance company pays €0 and you are considered guilty in court. We call these parts: safety-relevant parts, you cannot repair them, only replace them. Trucks like this end up in scrap yards in Europe. And then parts that are still good are dismantled and the rest end up in the scrap press. I understand that you have to do that in your country, but as I said - it's dangerous. I'm a quality inspector by profession and have seen such parts under x-ray - it's just scrap, often such parts only have 70% of the load capacity compared to new ones. means - at some point the repaired area will fail and if you drive around a bend in the mountains - you're simply dead, that may not be so bad but you can also kill other innocent people. I hope your country will soon have so much money that such primitive repairs will no longer be necessary.
I wouldn't call it primitiive. Of course these structural repairs are risky. However they drive with lower speeds as in Europe so the risk is lower. Once all new trucks are built according to state of the art technic the repairs will adapt as well.
thats rules in europe but in africa or asia is not a problem to repair frame, in europe they only make money for insurance company. i would repair too and drive this why not if you see structurale problem than you can make a second metal sheet. over this place. in germany call angstblech

i dont know where you from but this work was carried out in pakistan. people in pakistan buy their vehicles outright unlike in the western countries where the banks lend you money.plus the custom duty is extremely high,in some instances almost 100% of the value of your car/truck.so people have them repaired.

Everything can be fixed. Often we just think that it's not worth it. When the insurance company claims the wreckage, it is considered to have no value. If you want such scrap metal, then in a good case you can get it for free, because the insurance company would incur additional costs for taking the scrap metal to recycling.

The fact that you do this kind of work is worthy of all praise, but I would never get into a truck that has been repaired like that. The frame is never repaired, only replaced. Nevertheless... great work!
So ein restauriertes Wrack würde bei uns nie durch den TÜV kommen, Totalschaden bleibt Totalschaden. Allein die Reparaturkosten, noch ohne die Ersatzteile, würden bei uns jeglichen finanziellen Rahmen sprengen. Ist nur dort möglich, wo Mechaniker in Sandalen arbeiten. 😂

Yip, this may look like a damn good repair job, and they have done a remarkable job on this truck. I'm just glad I'm not going to drive it though. You really don't want to be straightening chassis rails without the utmost precision, best not to do it at all. one or two millimetres out of true and you will know it when you drive it. As for most of the trim they banged on with their hands, It will be laying on the street in an hour or two.
