I see a lot of comments about not properly aligning the center to the new outside grind. While these people are correct in stating the importance of doing so, they are fundamentally a rather important point. Do you notice the size of that gear? The amount of tolerance you can have being out of round for the engagement with its mating gear is far far more lax than smaller gears most people have experience with. This combined with the end product ONLY NEEDS TO BE AS PRECISE as the machine it’s going into. For slower moving large gears being mated with a gear that is probably extremely worn already and operating in an environment where cleanliness, precision, longevity and everything else ALL COME as after thoughts to WILL IT FUNCTION AS NEEDED. My bet is these guys are very aware of what level of precision is needed to get the original machine functioning again,
I have never seen a positive comment from a Russian, ever. I guess when you're mighty Russia and cannot beat a small nation like Ukraine in battle after fighting three and a half years, there's no positivity left in your life...
But what about the appalling non concentricity of the damaged gear when it was being turned off and then the ' thread' put on? The thing is at least 200 thou out of concentricity. The finished gear will end up going in and out of engagement with its neighbour.
Never worked in a machine shop? The casting looks like it's out of round, but the center hole is bored, and the outer surface is parallel to it. And as you can see, it's perfectly machined and still parallel to the center bore.
Just the vibration of cutting the teeth off that gear would drive me crazy... I will say that they make do with what they have at their disposal!!!! 😁😁😁
I admire the hard work, but this is not good. The inner bore was not centered to start with and that ruins it. 2nd thing is that both should have been machined smooth with a too tight fit. Then the inner could have been chilled and the outer ring heated and the two halfs put together then.

Super. Muy inteligentes y no se dejan varar. Felicitaciones.

i may sound a bit ignorabt but should the part be better centered in the chuck
This is Pakistan! In addition, the gear does not shine with quality either... And it will do!

Very good.👍👍👍
You are very talented with your job 👍
@@paultabone2010 thank you so much…
This job has a very tight tolerance
It fits where it touches 😉
Your skills are very good. I need to learn a lot from you
Super jest to zrobione pomyślane i wytoczony pozdrawiam serdecznie.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Now that was patience and attention to detail to get te fit correct and maintain the proper diameter on the gear. Nicely done sir. 😊
But what about the appalling non concentricity of the damaged gear when it was being turned off and then the ' thread' put on? The thing is at least 200 thou out of concentricity. The finished gear will end up going in and out of engagement with its neighbour.
Excellent job but i think its better to add some pins in addition to welding to ensure it will last longer
wow recycled indeed.. RESPECT SIR.
Its nonsense holding gear by not finished surface it's dumb because inside hole will not be in center after all he must use center hole

@jimmyplain7583 it can be parallel but not perfectly in center even half mm can damage gear.
@@jimmyplain7583 No, he did not center the inner bore on the machine, watch when he takes it off, you can see.
Very poor workmanship, the bore was not centred by dial indicator. It is not true in parallel or angularity. The bore clearly has runout.
Muito bom
He welded it then turned the weld off?
Très beau travail 👍!
Bravo complimenti
grind a chip breaker into your carbide may help

You know what kind of stuff I can make with a machine like that here in the US I would love to find one like that... People charge 7k + for one....
Excelent better than most U Tube vidieo Bernard Glasgow Scotland
good bit of clever engineering much learning
Not sure what this gear goes on but I'm guessing the machine must vibrate like hell with a off center gear like that😂
the hub is not centered will wobble
Good work 👍

no sure how strong this is compared to the original but the repair is genius.
💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👏👏
Definitely precise
It looks that centre is not aligned.
Wow that's some Mickey Mouse stuff going on here.
salam vean y aprendan
🥰🤲salamat kupchak ❤
Are you kidding me ?🤣🤣🤣
You’ve heard of third world? This is like 8th or 9th world.
LMAO
This one looks like it could really work! Not like a lot of the others.
I d not center
You have no respect for our time, don't you know about something called editing?
Congratulation very good work
I am impressed
