I am impressed with his pride in his work and attention to detail trimming up the tread to make the repair invisible on a tire with 10% tread left on it.
Bro, the cigarette is the most impressive part of all of this. It never stopped being lit. He did the whole job during his lifespan. He worked with both his hands while holding the cigarette in his mouth. Also that was a Marlboro so this guy's not poor just a difference in culture.
Amazing ingenuity. If ever the apocalypse should happen these people have a good chance of survival.. In Canada we would perished if the coffee amachine and toaster fails..
What do you think, where the tire heat repair rubber comes from? From some industrialised area. In the apocalypse you wouldn´t get this stuff, not even in Pakistan.

That can't be aluminum. At over 1200° F, molten aluminum would eat right through that tire's 750° F ignition point. From what I understand, you also couldn't get a chunk of aluminum that large to melt in an open pan with just a large blowtorch and keep it molten. I'm thinking maybe it's Tin with a much more modest melting point around 450° F, but it's also kind of soft.

Hello Maestro. All respect, good man. I am always amazed at how you keep things running in your country. In Germany and Europe, of course, this is unthinkable given the standards and specifications. Here in my area, you have to think very carefully about how big the compromise between repair and rejection can be. When I see all these very interesting videos, I am always very impressed by the conditions and circumstances, as well as the prerequisites and feasibility of work. My respect goes to all those who have almost perfected the art of improvisation in your area. I would also be interested to know how long the repair spot on this tractor tire lasted. It's a great job. First I wonder the function of the aluminum molding then I realized it is external steady support according to the outer shape for compression of internal rubber pad.
... a very hard-working person but he should wear a mask when he grinds, microparticles are created from the tires that he inhales and he is a heavy smoker ... is not good. All the best for this hardworking person. Greetings from Türkiye.
Anything can be fixed. At what point does it become unworthy of the repair? This guy has skills, no doubt but whatever he charges for this repair has to more than that tire is worth!
When this hard work is finished the tire should be washed and rubbed with a rubber-shine compound so to look almost new. This would make the man' s work and his shop look even better.

It's pot metal. Usually made with whatever mixes. So, maybe some tin, zinc, lead, cadmium, nickel, and aluminum. Super unhealthy, too.

Я думаю это не совсем алюминий. Вероятно сплав с добавкой цинка. Потому что у алюминия более 600 градусов плавление, с цинком чуть-чуть больше 400.
