Something to notice is that, Kashtira Ogre is the monster with highest atk (2800) that you can just put from your hand directly to the field without tributes, with the only restriction is not controlling any monsters.
I'm not taking into account monsters with drawbacks to avoid the 3K ones that lower their atk, but you are right, Sandaion doesn't lose atk so it is a one turn 4k beater
I'm still surprised how few monsters there are at 2600 for one tribute, at least in terms of normal monsters. I also owned Gene Warped Warwolf at it's time of release, and it's probably still in my hobby deck!
Don't forget Sandaion the Timelord who is a level 10 monster with 4000 ATK/DEF you can normal summon without tributing but you must control no monsters. It also domes your opponent for 2k to make up for the fact that neither player takes damage from battles involving it. It also returns to the deck in the standby phase of your next turn after you summon it like all other timelords (except for like two).
Zombyra needs a retrain and archetype. I guess Vendread kinda takes the spawn vibes from it, but is a monster that was meta for a while in the very early days (atleast OCG)
Giant Kozaky has burn potential using Give amd take to summon it to your opponent's field, I'm sure there are other cards that can summon your monsters to your opponent's field, the only other thing i could imagine is to use creature swap and similar cards however that means still having to actually use original Kozaky, but then you might be able to give your opponent twp giant kozaky and then you just use kozaky for link material, do 5k then use 2 give and take to do another 5k
The normal play is to Normal Set it, then Creature Swap it to give your opponent it, crash into it with a weakish monster, take some damage for crashing, then watch it blow up for 2500 after damage calculation. You can also similarly use The Shallow Grave to revive it to your board face down then use cards to give it to them from there too. Definitely just a gimmick, but you can get through 7500 pretty easily with this, and the last 500 isn't that hard - sometimes the opponent will pay that much themselves anyway!
I got this idea a few years ago: I think it would be cool if Konami was to release a level 1 normal monster with 5000 Atk and Def and nothing else. Would it be the strongest normal monster ever? I guess so; would it appear in meta decks? I highly doubt it, outside of some very weird blind 2nd experimentations. That said, it would be a cool card to have in the card pool that would finally break the standards (and really prove to Konami itself that atk points don't matter)
Archfiend Emperor, so long as you have an Archfiend card in your grave/hand you can pop a card, with generic fiend support you can easily bring him back from the grave the next turn.
Giant Kozaky isn't entirely useless, you can do some things by stting it(some way more fun than others). A common use I've seen is some control lists in Edison using it as an easily setable monster that meets the requirements for Deck Devastation Virus(which is the boring but more effective use) or setting it,giving it to your opponent and crashing into it to burn for 2500(which is way funnier and should definitely be explored)
Konami when releasing a level 4 monster with over 2k of attack "Too broken" But when they release omni negate cards and interruptions based effects "That's fine"
I love putting together decks that make use of forcing my opponent to draw. Actually you know what I'm going to boot up my old PS2 right now and play Tag Force, I've got a deck based around Greed, with chainsaw insect killing all their monsters and then 500 burn at the end of turn. Except it'll be more than that since I'll have other cards to make them draw more, then disturbance strategy to put those 8 cards back into the deck and redraw, then a second copy to make them draw over 16 cards total and do. 8000 in one go

Doesn't Sandaion hold that title?
A 4k normal summon
I'm not taking into account monsters with drawbacks to avoid the 3K ones that lower their atk, but you are right, Sandaion doesn't lose atk so it is a one turn 4k beater
Preciate Key putting Kozaky, Chengying and Ecclesia in his Main Deck.
That moment when Duel Academy didnt teach us Synchros.... 😔

the title of this video made me think of Rocket Arrow Express, but then i remembered it could only be special summoned

As long as it doesn't focus on its dreaded fusion, it would be great
Sandaion The Timelord, but your opponent has to control a monster.
Was gonna comment this
Also there is no Normal Monster with above 3K ATK.
Blue eyes is da strongest der is
Yeah I don't think Konami will ever make one stronger then Blue eyes
You can summon Kozaky with Unexpected Dai and then normal summon the Giant. We need Kozaky archetype.

The best vanilla in the meta is still Loci. Not because it has stats, but because it enables obscene end boards in Plant Link

But defeats the purpose of being a big beater with attack cut in half on normal
im running into set gren maju 18k with traptrix gozen match, im no longer trusting a normal set anymore

Not a normal summon but acts as it. You can summon rocket arrow express for a free 5000 ATK monster. But you won't be doing anything else
Bro. The game has been power crept so hard that a vanilla 4 star beater with 8000 attack and no drawbacks would still be too weak
I like that most main deck Gaias allow for them to be Normal Summoned for free, while retaining their 2300 ATK.
Imagine how different the game would be if it retained the OG sets' cap of 1200 for level 4 or lower.
As Train Enjoyer I was always a fan of lionhearted locomotive
Would be funny if they made a 3000 ATK Level 4 monster.
Imagine the restrictions on that effect lol.
"You can't attack the turn is summoned"... That should be more than enough these days, or just ask Melodious about it
U miss out on one timelord card that "technical y" Have 4k damage
0:00 Mario voice
Wulf, Lightsworn Beast due to my CRIPPLING gambling addiction
Mine is The Calculator because I canuse my extra deck to make plays and then after im done normal summon The Calculator for a juicy 6900 ATK
6900 ATK? Weak! I can do some milling from main deck and normal summon King of the Skull Servants with up to 23000 ATK.
Chainsaw Insect is the best beater, hands down.
I will fight anyone that says otherwise.
Okay, but I’m drawing a card each time you do.
@@sapahn3039 and I'll keep swinging, now draw your last pathetic card!
@@USELESSDCK Oof, deckout victory. Well played. 👍
