My favorite part of that is Joey forgetting to remove it, trying to use it in his next duel, but not understanding how the card works so it gets destroyed by battle before it can be used (which younger me thought was an anime-only bit, but turns out is the actual ruling on the card).
@@raegatan2110Actually, he placed it face down so it would get flipped up by an attack, but the effect only works if it survives (the card needs to be face up but getting marked as destroyed by battle nullifies that, even during the damage step).
You can create an irreparable game state with Parasite Paracide but only if you have a very specific set of circumstances that will never occur in an actual match and also if both players are cooperative. So, here's the chain of events: Both players are using Parasite Paracide. Their Paracides are both the same rarity, set number, edition, etc. Both players are using the same sleeves. One player activates Convulsion of Nature, flipping the decks upside down. One player resolves Parasite Paracide. Since it must go into the deck face-up specifically, it is in the same alignment as the cards in the deck after activation of Convulsion of Nature - the reason is because it specifies it goes in face-up, not that it goes into the deck inverted. Since both players have identical Paracides, and identical sleeves, it is thus impossible to verify which player's Parasite Paracide is the one that was shuffled into the deck by its own effect.
I guess you'd have to somehow mark it. put a small slip of paper into the sleeve... altho if you were in this situation without sleeves on hand... ooh boy. maybe some tape and hope it doesn't damage the card.
