- Last week I went to fish at Loch Raven with my family. We caught multiple species of fish for our dinner. We caught yellow perch, white perch and bluegill for dinner. We also did some bass fishing and managed to catch a few. It was a very tough fishing day and the bites were few. The lake was very pressured and we struggled to find fish, but in the end we caught enough for dinner. Subscribe for more fishing content.

Hahaha yeah I warned him to put on a long sleeved shirt, he didn’t listen and got very sunburned. I think he learned his lesson haha.

Been wanting to go up there with my girlfriend. The boat rental prices are good for a electric motor all day. Though I keep hearing the fishing is though.
The fishing is very tough. You won’t get many bites, but you have the chance to catch a big pike or bass. It’s a lot of fun tho. If you want to go on the weekend I suggest you get there early cuz boats go quickly on the weekends.
Did I miss the spawn or has it not happened yet? I haven't seen any beds the last 2 tines I've been out

Do you still need a permit to fish there using a rental?
Yes you still need a MD fishing license to fish there even when you’re on the rental boats.
@@Jonalexxx thanks for the reply. I meant the permit from Baltimore county but I think that's for boats. I know they have weird regulations there
Been trying to fish there with my kayak but can never get a permit. I didn't know they had rentals.
Yeah if you’re trying to launch your own kayak/boat yes you need a boating permit. They also rent kayaks there and you don’t need a kayak permit to take out their kayaks. IDK what they charge for the kayaks tho. The place it’s called Loch Raven Fishing Center.
