- In this episode I fish at the Chesapeake Bay in MD. My friends and I fished the bay for two days and we caught a few different species. I was very surprised at the strength of the skates. It is a flat-bodied fish that is part of the ray family. We were able to hook a couple during our trip and the skates fought valiantly for up to 20 minutes or longer each time.

Nice video fishing with Scott and Maya, that ray was pretty big haha. Even though you guys didn’t catch bluefish or stripers it still looked like a fun and relaxing outing with the food

Yeah I’m aware of the sting. Thankfully we didn’t have to unhook it. We have no idea what happened it just kinda broke.
