@cathydavis1817 Bella, his white mare Mustang is back home. She's giving riding lessons and putting on the weight she needs to finish the end of the adventure.
Your mustangs handle those bridges and the traffic like superstars. Another enjoyable video of your travels. Since you didn't say it, I will....until next time- Adios ❤️
I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to follow this journey from the beginning. Jake, the Mustangs, and everyone helping y'all are awesome. Fort Worth checking in.
Oh my so close! I was thinking about being tired. I bet you have those feelings, you are getting closer to home. I bet your possibly in Wisconsin or Iowa. Take care Jake you are in my prayers.
No doubt in my mind those mustangs will make it wherever you want them to go. I helped a friend of mine train a mustang. I learned so much. Got so much respect for them. They're a beautiful, amazing horse, but you don't take him for granted. They're not domesticated whole different ball game. Good luck to you. Jake, love the videos! Thanks for sharing
Oh my goodness, you passed right through my neighborhood! I live just a little over a mile from the bridge that goes over the Fox River in Millington. Wish I would have had the chance to meet you! Glad you got a chance to visit the Sandwich Fair. I enjoy watching your travels. Stay safe!
Wonderful video Jake. Wish they were a bit longer. The horse's are looking great. Love the sounds of their hooves on the ground ❤. Take care of yourself and your boy's and God bless 🙏
I stumbled across this by accident. My grandmother lived in Lake Village, Indiana, for around 40 years, which is close to Thayer Indiana , is part of my old days stomping ground. You pronounced Kankakee wrong, but that not hard to do. I'm 12 miles from Manteno il. Born and raised, both are in Kankakee County. Where I live is a lot of Kankakee River and very unique with great history and history sites. I so wished I had known about you and when you came threw here. It was nice seeing you were close by. Kank- ka (small a voal sound)- key
Jake, I'm just curious, are you going to keep all three of these mustangs after this journey? I've watched this from the beginning too. I absolutely love it! It has been so interesting and educational. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe. Love the mustangs. You did a great job training them forgot to ask you, do you ever take them swimming? Absolutely love that little church! Happy Easter!
Hi, I’ve been really inspired by your journeys of riding miles and miles through nature, and I’d love to learn more about your approach. How do you structure breaks during the day? When you mentioned 7-8 hours a day in the saddle, do you mean actual riding time, or does that include all the breaks? For someone new to riding who has a passion for traveling with a horse rather than competing in traditional horse sports like dressage or show jumping, how should one start? Do you have any resources or videos focused on preparing both mentally and practically for a long-distance horse journey? I’m not very interested in the typical horse sports most people are into, like show jumping or dressage, as I feel they often confine the horse to unnatural, restrictive environments. Instead, I’m drawn to the freedom and partnership that comes with horse traveling and Equine-Assisted Learning. It would be amazing if you could create a course or guide for beginners who want to travel on horseback and experience that bond with their horse, rather than focusing on competitive events. Thanks again for sharing your adventure and wisdom!
Hi Jake . Your butt is " tough as nails" by now.😂 Beautiful weather and countryside. In ok. we have a little nip in the air. Get your fall clothes out!! Love and blessings to all. ❤❤
I do all the filming and then I send all the footage to my brother back home who does the editing and posting. He's always been the tech kid in our family so I'm really grateful he was willing to work on Year of the Mustang with me in between his college classes.
Great relief you escaped Helene !
The sound of the horses hooves hitting the pavement. Sounds soothing and relaxing to me. A comforting sound to me.

I found you here. Love the videos 😊. New from Iowa dairy farmer... but I'm from Chippewa Falls Wisconsin 😁

Hey Jake - we're wondering if you have to do all your own video editing and posting, or if you have help with it.
I do all the filming and then I send all the footage to my brother back home who does the editing and posting. He's always been the tech kid in our family so I'm really grateful he was willing to work on Year of the Mustang with me in between his college classes.
@@jakeharvath nice! Tell your little brother that we wouldn’t mind longer posts 😂. What we get is amazing, but we’d love more!
Hi, followed you from day one. Great job! Want to know if the horses ever spook at anything anymore. ( I remember the Sinclair dinosaur)
❤️
Jake, do you have any idea what your plans will be when you get done with the year of the mustang?
👍👍
❤
Does anybody know if there was a video that came after week 50 of the 6,000 mile journey or after day 348? I cannot find it on TH-cam
