Hope you can miss the snow in Wyoming, or, at least, not get bogged down. Your horses are amazing! You left in snow, and you will return in snow…..but what adventure in between!!! That snake blended right in! 😳. Home time zone….won’t be long now!! Can you smell home in the wind yet!? Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
Your beautiful soul shines through no matter what your hair looks like! And you are just gorgeous no matter what your hair looks like lol! I am an old lady now but can still appreciate a good looking young man on a horse! Nothin' wrong about that!

I've been following you on your adventures and travels, truly enjoying it all. I've been doing some thinking, it's the first time in almost two decades that I'm completely alone with no actual home responsibilities that prevent me from traveling and I'm not getting any younger so I think I'm going to do it and see more of this country while I can!! Thank you for sharing, be safe and enjoy!!!
Do it. I’ve been doing long drives for years seeing this beautiful country. Get off interstates, follow historical markers, immigrant trails. You won’t regret it.
Always enjoy your videos. Your mustangs look good. Perhaps when you get back home you will share some of your favorite states and experiences. Looking forward to seeing if you keep your beard and long hair 😊. Safe travels on your Year of the Mustang.
Jake ive been following your journey since you started im so happy youre almost home 🏡🏠 be careful Wyoming is expecting some winter weather. Im watching and rooting for you. 🎉🎉🎉
Congrats on your 400th day of The Year of the Mustang! You have certainly have had some very long days. Love your Mustangs! Seeing all four seasons on your journey has been amazing. So happy you are finding good people to put you up, and drive the load ahead. Hope it doesn’t get too cold. Praying for you and your horses. Safe travels. 🙏🙏🙏
You would definitely have a place to stay if you were going through East Texas. Too bad I am not on your trail. Loved the cat and the mustangs. Love every video and cannot for the next one.
Jake, Great video and even though it's fairly flat, there were some nice views. Thanking the Lord for your safety and that of the horses. See you next week! Lee
The Ogllala aquifer is huge. Break out those long Johns. You are about to see some snow. Jet jockeys wear nylon underwear. They are gentler on the butt on a long ride. We all prefer sleeping in a shelter, but you have passed some good places to throw down amungst some trees and sleeping like a baby. Crazy Horse rode a long way south to surrender there. Be judicious in your planning. Thanks very much for the ride.
You had a short video talking about water. I was in eastern Texas Panhandle one time. A cowboy was saying in the old days that a cowboy could drop down in a draw, pull out a saddle ring or horse shoe, dig a little hole, and in the time it took to smoke a cigarette, that enough water would well up to water him and his horse. That is not so true in Texas now, but in your country, it might still be a thing.
Wow you have put in some seriously long days! Lots of wide open spaces. I hope you make it home without encountering any winter weather that may hinder your travels. You are definitely looking like a real frontiersman.
You’ll be home for Christmas, yay! Are you planning on keeping a TH-cam channel when this is over? I’m sure lots of people would like to see where life takes you.
I would like to know how the horses have responded from the beginning to the end .their manner has changed much.Have they any sense of going home I think they will be so happy to see their own pasture.I would appreciate hearing from your horses point of view
Wow! That's amazing! 400 days on horseback, and you're still going strong, Mustangs rule that's for sure!! Hope everything goes good for the rest of the journey, Weather stays good ,horses Stay good, and you stay warm😂. God bless❤ Love the videos Jake, and the scenery. It's so beautiful! Thank you for sharing!❤😊
@marybabler788 No, ma'am, 2/3 of his horses couldn't make it. I'm not opposed to Mustangs, but I just don't hold them at a higher esteem than a good quarter horse. Mustangs are just a mix of Spanish horses with a large influence of western breeds such as quarterhorse and thoroughbreds.
@@CursandCows I'm sorry I love quarter horses too but mustangs are amazing. I help train one and they are unbelievable. It was best experience I've ever had in my life. Have you ever done an endurance race with your quarter horses? I bet a mustang could whoop you
The only horse that didn't make a few miles was Belle and that was Jake's choice because he loves his horses. That horse would have gone on forever because that's what mustangs do. But because he has a good heart and a smart brain, he knew when to take her home and let her rest
You should. It was really cool and since it's out in the middle of nowhere, it's very quiet and peaceful. I was surprised at how much history took place there and yet no one's heard of it. Wish I had more time to see all of it.
I've had a lot of people ride with me for a few hours at a time. Sometimes it's planned ahead, like with people that are hosting us and sometimes people just show up and ask if they can ride a ways with us. It's always nice to have some company for a bit and meet new folks.
Hi Jake. Glad you're still trucking along. The cowboy trail would be a really cool thing to do on horse back, though I would like to stay at b and B's along the way. Nice state park, thanks for the history lesson on the fort... pretty cool.
When does your journey end? Are you having a welcome home entrance? When does Bella join you? What's easier on the horses' hooves, dirt trail, grass, or something else? Loads of questions as you wind down on your journey! How do you know where the drop gates are, and how do you know if you're entering private property or not?
Ha, ha, after all the work and trouble you already went to for us when we were in your state, I totally believe you would! We're doing okay so far getting folks to host us here in Wyoming but your comment made me laugh and I will always appreciate your generosity and friendship!
Hey Jake, You do have the wild sunflowers in Utah. I have seen them out on the Pony Express trail, by the Onaqui Wild Horses. Have you ever been out there? It's so beautiful! I am enjoying your journey!
It used to be a Chicago and North Western rail road line that was called the "Cowboy Line", because it went across northern Nebraska all the way to Wyoming, which at the time was known as cowboy country. However, in the early 90's the use of the Cowboy line had pretty much phased out, and the rail was abandoned. Today, much of it has been converted to a biking, hiking and riding trail and is now called the Cowboy Trail.
At the end of your journey, you should do a video where you go to the barbershop and you cut your hair and beard completely down. You shave the beard down the skin and you cut the hair completely short. Don’t get me wrong. I love your hair and I love your beard, but that’ll be cool to watch you should do a video where you just film yourself in the barbershop without it edited or anything just the whole entire entire haircut in the whole entire beard shave
