Imo this is one of my favourite chapters of the game. The story in this one and the feeling of rising from the bottom and being the champion is so satisfying.
Personally i think it's a bit boring. Hearing the same dialogue over and over again is p annoying
Nvm i just finished the chapter... all the twists and turns..... oh jolene.... amazing writing
The fact that Yoshis are sapient creatures, that there's a hot dog recipie that involves a Yoshi egg is fucked up. lol
And the fact it was about to hatch within an hour makes it even more awkward and fucked up....
so we're ignoring the fact that a PIG is the one making the hot dogs? lol
@@AustinJohnPlays Good point, but to counter the OP, King K said the recipe is meant to use a Mystic Egg, the forageable from Level 2.
I had to double back and make sure I heard that right, "I left a hot dog on this ladder, where'd it go?" had me in stiches

This is such a fun chapter! I love the tournament mixed with mystery vibes.
I love getting the W Emblem so when Mario becomes the Great Gonzales he really does have a almighty alterego.
In the original, it did remind you at the start of the fight what your special objective was, around the same time you would see the messages like "Can't flee this fight" and stuff like that. However, if you missed it both in the dialogue AND in that message, you'd be out of luck. It is nice that it's on-screen during the fight in this one.
It’s always lovely to see a playthrough guide made by someone who truly loves the game they’re covering. I can only watch after I’ve beaten each bit but I’m sure I’ll use this playthrough for background noise for years to come. Which might not sound like a complement, but trust me I only background noise the best games

I want to say thank you SOO much for this playthrough. I did not have a gamecube as a kid. I got it in my later 20's from a family member who was getting rid of there gamecube. I was originally going to buy it for the game cube but its so pricy here in MN! When I saw it coming to Switch I bought it for my wife and I to try as my 2 year old watches. He enjoys not only us playing but your videos I've watch all in this to this point and now we are going through it with this as a helpful guide!

I got the bigger and better stage just before the big bad of glitzville it was kind of perfect that I fought the big bad on the brand new big stage.

It maxes at 100. But if you want to maximize. Earn enough to be just UNDER 99 star points. Fail the requirements to face them again. Earn the 100.
Every level you’re higher than them, the less star points you get. So it diminishes quickly.

Could that 100 star points double to 200 if you get lucky? Or is 100 still the max?
@@trevoredris3431 The spell took effect for me at the end of using the Fuzzies to get 100 star points- the max is still 100. I was excited for a sec when the spell activated and then disappointed when I didn't get 200 star points...

Grubba is supposed to be a spoof of Don King so he definitely wouldnt be sounding like that lol
Since the Swooper is a chapter 4 enemy he gives a lot of star points but can still be defeated in one round. So it can be worthwile to just fight him to reach the next level-up.
Anyone have issues with yoshi not being able to make it across gaps since returning from Glitzville?
There's a lot to do in this Chapter. I'm currently in 5. Will double check your next video to see what I missed.
