Hello Curtis from New Zealand. Still thoroughly enjoying your workouts. Was wondering if you could do any exercising for getting up and down off the floor/ground?. Not even because of falls but now with summer coming here we go to parks/gardens & the beach. All involve sitting down on the ground, am finding I am now less agile getting up & down off the ground, and wondered if there was any form of exercises we could do to help? Usual classes, plus all the walking I do does not help in these instances. Thanking you in advance. Take care & kind regards. Flora
Thanks, Flora, what you should focus on is getting your legs stronger and getting your core stronger. This will make a huge difference! I have a free trial for 30 days seniorexercisetv.com
Hi curtis, i followed u on this one for my first time. when you had us hold one leg straight forward lifted in the air then move it sideways while lifting the other leg bent at the knee, my leg in the air, the first one, threw a charlie horse pain in the muscle. what does that indicate??
So, your leg cramped up? If so, you could be dehydrated or potassium is low. You need to consult with your Dr to understand what is going on. You're the first person that had this happen to them. Please keep me posted!
Would love to see a senior seated "Functional Fitness" workout for those who have a temporary lower body injury and/or have limited mobility issues.
