    Thank you so much for this brilliant short chair workout. I'm very unfit since Covid and this was just what I needed. Not too long which usually puts me off and I could tell it was proper exercise because I got slightly out of breath. Brilliant thank you again 👍😘🤗

    Thank you for my first workout. I’m 68 and a cancer survivor and I have let myself completely go so this is a new beginning.

    Five weeks and I feel a HUGE difference! I've lost some weight, I sleep better, and I have more staying power when taking care of my two year old granddaughter. Thank you so much. This is the first exercise I've stayed with so long. I love the laid back approach and soothing music. Made just for me.

    I've been sedentary for so long, this gentle, short workout was exactly what the doctor ordered, literally. I was diagnosed the multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and told to get moving. Thank you for your exercises.

    I have emphysema and my doctor ordered me to exercise. Had to pause and start my O2 supply, then had to pause again to catch my breath. Now I feel like I've accomplished something. It's a start. Thank you.

    Your seated workouts have been saving my life. I have been suicidal due to disability and 24/7 chronic pain.
    But, one day you showed up on my feed and I decided to try. Moving is painful but you make me happy to do it.

      Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to read about the struggles you have been having with chronic pain and depression. I'm guessing you've seen lots of specialists due to the chronic pain but I truly hope you see your GP and discuss your mental health and the possibility of medication to help.     I have let myself go. I used to walk a lot but now am the sole caregiver for my husband who has PSP. He can’t be left alone and although I get lots of help and support from my family they all work full time. I am now very overweight and unfit and this looks just the thing to get me moving again.       It is so difficult being a caregiver because we give so much of ourselves to others (I work with seniors with dementia and often hear the stories of the spouses and have seen many tears shed over the exhaustion of caregiving).     This is the first exercise video I’ve seen that I feel I can actually do! I love that you talk like a regular person and not as someone trying to be a celebrity with nothing but non stop talking. I have lupus, fibro and sacrum/SI issues and most exercises makes me worse. I’m 66 and do need another avenue for improved muscle tone and weight loss in addition to walking. So thank you! As I build endurance I will try and start the more advanced video with the 50’s music.

    After a car accident and back surgery I couldn't run anymore. I gave up on everything. Gained weight. I have been in pain even after surgery but these exercises were easy for me without causing pain. Though it did prove how out of shape i have gotten. I'm sure with continued exercises i will be able to move without pain. thank you so much for these.

    I am fighting cancer and have weakness and this helps me get a little activity and your voice is very soothing to me. I especially love the flutter kicks as I love to swim and I like to close my eyes and imagine I'm swimming happy😂I'm so glad I came across your videos, thank you so much for helping others.

There is a gentle playlist that might work well for you. The stretching playlist might also be helpful during this time until you gain more strength and energy again.🫂

    thank you for your videos. my Mum has not been well for a while and finally diagnosed with sleep apnea. because she was unwell for so long she had not done any exercise and is therefore unsteady on her feet and needs to ease into things so she can become fit again. your videos are the best thing that she has found. they are just what she needs to start her journey back to physical health.

    Searching for a short seated beginner session for a friend with limited mobility and stamina due to battling breast cancer. Going to keep looking; as inviting as this is, it might be too much for her at present due to other health issues.       I just called my sister to come over tomorrow to do this video together - I have been very fit most of my life but a car accident has resulted in a L1-S spinal fusion ( yes I wrote that correctly - when I first went to physio she refused to believe me but finally got my chart and asked "why would anyone do that to you?) It was my 3rd fusion since the area either above or below takes on the function of the fused area and after many years you end up needing another. For the past 10 years I haven't exercised at all as just doing daily living stuff has become overwhelming - but I have been thinking that I really want to be as fit as I can and no longer feel that if I can't workout like I used to what's the point - I now feel that getting any better will help me and have been thinking about starting for about a month - so I start tomorrow and I know I need to go very slow and very little to start to avoid a flare so this video looks great and I'm looking forward to it

      I sold my house 2 years ago & moved to be with family more. 2 years of inactivity & just sitting all day has taught me that I need to exercise. I’m not ready for a full blown exercise program. Starting slow with this 10 minute exercise is what I needed. Thank you so much for this video. PS: I’m 96.

    Hi Jules. I just got the go ahead to remove the sling after 14 weeks with a shattered shoulder and green stick humerous fracture. Scheduled for some physio instruction mid week .     Good morning. I am a 75 yr old who used to be very active, barely sat down. Then my husband passed and I became very depressed. I also fight with neuropathy and fibromyalgia. It’s hard for me to walk, although I try to walk up to an hour several times a week. Biggest problem is finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet. I’m glad I found this channel as I’m going to try this. 😂

    Hi from Denmark! thank you so much. I have a weakness in my body that makes tendon knots and I can only walk or stand for 2000 steps a day. This video is really helpful, and gives me hope to get excercise into my life. I'm 53 and was loosing hope all to soon.

    I’ve been staying home taking care of my elderly father, not doing any exercise. I wanted to find an easy exercise that he can along with me. I decided to try this, i didn’t realize how stiff I was I feel better already. Tomorrow I put it on in front of my dad and see if he will join me. Wish me luck.

    I really appreciate this video. I'm only 54 but with a tailbone injury from 5 yrs ago and 2 summers ago I tore the meniscus in my knee and now have a Taylor's bunion and regular bunion on left foot. I've gained so much weight and it's been so hard to excersize. I'm very happy I came across your video, I can do this!!❤

    Hello. I came across this vidro summer 2023 and so over joyed I did. I have been off work for 1 year due to a work injury and have had on and off again pain in my lower back, legs and feet.     I was just diagnosed with Tachycardia and I’ve led a sedentary lifestyle. I’ve been told I need to exercise and change my diet. Though I’m only 58, this exercise session helped me start. Look forward to increasing the time spent moving. Thanks!

    This is great. I am into month 9 recovery from broken hip and total hip replacement. Still having pain and walking with limp. I also have very bad knees. I need to get back to the gym but have lost my confidence about being able to walk on treadmill and do the weight training machines. This is a good start. Thank you. I am 66.

      This was great i will advance. Had a Covid stroke. Have right side leg/hand challenges. Left PT when they put weights on ankle causing failure. Gentle full body moves & good chiropractor has been a blessing I’m so glad I found you too! My age is a factor I just turned 80 but I’m a very young 80 very limber! Glad to be aboard!

      Hi Agnes, are you drinking lots of water in the day? Often cramping is due to lack of fluids. I think the other option would be to go into the stretch very gently and over time increase the stretch. Hope this helps!

      I truly hope you stick with it. What I find helps a lot of people is to pick an amount of time that you promise you'll be physical active for each day. Even if it's 10 or 15 minutes a day, it will absolutely help. Start with a realistic amount of time and keep in mind that by being active, you'll be helping to extend your life (and be independent longer and decrease the chance of dementia). As time goes on, you'll hopefully be motivated to do more. But to start, 10-15 minutes is great. You can find all of my gentle workouts categorized in the playlists as well as on my website (www.improvedhealthforseniors.com). I hope I see your name pop up again soon in the comments:)

    2 major back surgeries (Staph infection attacked my spine and split it in half!) within the last 3 years. I am losing mobility and strength. This is a good start to get back on track. Soft, gentle movements. I can't twist side to side but this is good! Thanks !
