Thanks for upload! This really motivated me I live in nz and have a road registered 99 rmx it’s so cool everyone looks at me , I got a lectron carb and vforce reeds and fmf pipe it goes great , can’t wait to do what you have done great job on forks mate!!
thanks mate, the radiators are from eBay, the "RMX250s" radiators are different than the US version of the "RMX250" so make sure you get the correct ones
some brake cleaner on a rag usually gets a lot of the dirty plastics cleaned up, then you can use a heat gun to slightly melt the rough surface of the plastics, kind of gives it a shiny look.
Hey Jack! Any new updates past episode 10? Loved following along on this build. Wanted to ask what you thought of the rmz forks. Was the height of the forks the same between rmx and rmz?
Hey mate, bout to follow your process on my rmx. This series is invaluable, thank you so much for the time and care documenting it. Could you tell me what parts washer you use? I've been thinking of getting one. Appreciate it.
Thanks mate, I'm glad it will be helpful for you! the parts washer is a pretty generic one that most stores just re-badge and re-sticker as their own, but I got this particular one at total tools. its a 76L one.
Have had a 99 RMX for 10 years , have dolled up the suspension and rebuilt the engine twice. Let me tell you getting parts for this model wich was only sold in Aus and japan is Hard. Took 5 months to find a crank and was told it was the 2nd last one in the world.
teaching me more then i learn at school keep up the good work❤️❤️
hahah thanks mate, glad you’re learning something from my ramblings
