After sourcing all the parts I need I'm finally able to re-assemble my GasGas EC350 engine and get it back in the bike. It turns out drooping your bike in a river is expensive!

Oil Pump Gear Upgrade! *How To* (KTM/Husqvarna/Gasgas)
มุมมอง 25Kปีที่แล้ว
The plastic oil pump gears have been a common failure point on the Austrian 4 stroke bikes for years. Finally KTM have realised their mistake and changed out the plastic gears for some steel equivalents. But only for the final year of the generation. Luckily you can order the new steel gears and upgrade your bike! Oil pump gear part numbers: New steel intermediate gear: 79238006300 New steel oi...

Lie?
Hello , is there other problems than the gears ? I was just wondering if the actual oil pump is good
Do you still recommend this bike? Going to look a couple different ones this week.
Just did this method on a 250 husky tei. Was not that easy but it did work! I did it exactly as he did.
Nice engine! The backside of your clutch holder tool has 2 pins that are made for counterholding the flywheel when tightening it. Should there not be a washer under that nut as well?
Hey bro, id really appreciate it if you could answer a couple of questions I have for you about the build. I'm currently doing the exact same and would be great to get some advice 🤙
Good day! Where can I buy such a mount for the number and turn signals?
What year is your Gasser? I've got a 2023 EC250F
what is the year of the bike,
In answer to the title... Eventually. Don't buy first generation parts from them, they use their customers as testers and will sell the product run before releasing revisions based on feedback. Even then, sometimes the second or even third revisions are junk.
Any update on the part's quality? I'm seriously considrering buy some parts from nicecnc for a Tenere and would greatly appreciate feedback
Hi Jack Kelly Builds, my 2022 ktm revs too high when using the clutch, so i guess i need to just turn in clockwise the big main idle (air?) screw (to top left and external to the black plastic body, and with flathead screw driver)... but what is the benefit of doing the change you propose to the (fuel?) idle screw within the body? Bit confused why alot of folks do this mod? Appreciate any input, thanks
So helpful !!!
Excellent video
hey, how often do you change oil? Manual says 15 so i will stick to it
What headlight are you running?
Offtopic. If u were getting a 350 now. Would you get a used 21-23 or pay the extra for a 24+ new?
What was it made of in 2013
When you buy the plastik kit they don’t came with the graphik kit ? Thank’s
WOW man awesome
Hey there does husqvarna 350 fe 2017 year have the same plastic gears?
One question . A 23 and onward model have metal gears ??
Have you still got this bike. Would love to see another video of it. I had one I bought new in 98.
Can you rebuild mine i have the same one 2002 engine need to be fix or rebuild
Estoy totalmente en desacuerdo con la última parte! Siempre es bueno volver a intentarlo y superarse uno mismo, suerte con tu motor espero que no sea nada grave, saludos desde argentina
Excellent video, does anyone know if the lower part of the engine of the Gas Gas EC 250 is the same or similar to the Gas Gas EC 350? Like the gearbox, clutch, etc.? Thanks
Should be the exact same, only difference on those engines should be piston and cylinder size
Do you have a lot of experience rebuilding engines or are there good manuals and resources to guide you through it?
I’ve built a couple of engines but the factory workshop manual was a great help
I love it! Your video was straight to the point with no extra BS.
Enjoying your channel. I have just bought an Orange 350 and learning a lot from your mods and builds. Thanks for sharing
Hey mate, thinking of doing this on my 06’ model. Did you do anything to the clutch do make it more enduro friendly?
Appreciate this video was made 4 years ago now but I’m looking for some advice! Just got a 2018 crf250r, has the map modes and electric start, going to be doing light enduro/ trail riding, what are some good starting modifications to make to make the bike more enduro friendly? I’ve seen videos on other bikes for a weighted flywheel but can’t seem to find one for my bike and year! ( watched the whole series and loved it btw) also would you recommend downsizing rear sprocket or upsizing?
Amazing! I'm currently doing similar to my rmx!! Where did you get the chain slide guides and brake lines?
Chain sliders are rm250 ones and brake lines are stock
Yikes. Found this video because I’m heading to get the same bike end of week. Been a long time coming and a ton of research. Finally I settled on this bike and company. Granted I’m not gonna beat it like you do. But I’ll enjoy it thoroughly every weekend in the single tracks. Man I’ve worked hard to be able to buy this cash in hand. With wife and kids blue collar life it’s hard. But finally it’s money can’t wait.
Great video! One question pls. What configurator use for stock suspensión? Sport, standard..? Thanks!
Thank you! Sport
W ciężkim terenie często gaśnie, nie nadaje się takiej jazdy
Nice build, what size threaded rod did you use? Is 10mm strong enough?
I used 10mm but I think 12mm would be better
Yeah i ended up using high tensile 12mm @jackkellybuilds
Gears replaced - spot on video 🙂
Nice! Thank you
Just put a fan on my 2022 TE300. Video was great. Thanks for sharing
Thanks mate, glad it was helpful!
Waooo. Great job producing this video
Thank you very much!
Do you think a lanyard strap that cuts the engine would have saved your engine when you drowned it
Potentially
in the difficulty uphill: put your foot on the bike, move your body to the front of the seat and "get on the gas".
Fantastic video mate. Very clear and easy to follow. Cheers
Much appreciated!
Your series was awesome! it helped me rebuild my own. I just need some decent graphics to make it look as good as it runs. Where did you get yours from? Or do you have any recommendations for getting graphics for this? Especially considering the US didn't ever get the same shrouds as AUS.
Thank you! I got my graphics from rival ink
Best TH-camr !
thank you!
What new suspension did you use and did you use an aftermarket triple clamps?
2009 RMZ250 forks and triple clamps
I'm so excited to watch this series!! I just got a 99 rmx that has been kept on a garage and driven around the block twice a year. It's got 9 miles on it total.
Wow such low mileage for how old the bike is at this point, must be real tidy
Man just want to tell you congratulations for the incredible work you did with your motor. And atm since I was considering to buy a brand new 350 4T I am actually wondering to go for a new 2T just because of the simplicity of the motor in cases like this. 1330AUD because you did everything, otherwise a job like that much probably would scale for something like 3000AUD. I love 4T but this issues are a big deal to be considered. Thank you for sharing and for the great videos you make.
Thank you!
Hey mate what was needed to fit Te RM head? I was under the impression they are all o-ring heads? Looking at doing similar
nothing required as the groove for the o-ring on the models that have o ring head gaskets is on the cylinder side, so the heads are always flat and can be used on cylinders that use a regular head gasket
amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
This video gonna save people a lot time och headache. Thanks! :)
I hope so!
