Over the years I have driven more than 3,000 individual motorcycles. Z50 to Goldwing, Q50 to VMAX, Kawasaki, Suzuki, BMW, Harley, and others. Taking a new first year Yamaha RZ350 from the crate and driving it is one of my best memories.
Let's see: Small Displacement 4-Cylinder: ZX-4 RR ✅ World Class Superbike: RSV4 Factory ✅ Scooter: Started on one, so ✅ Forced induction bike: H2 SX ✅ Grom/Monkey/Dax should not be to hard to get for a test ride. What I really would like to ride is a 250cc 2 stroke Aprilia.
I've never ridden one, but can honestly say that a supercharged V-Max is by far the most insane bike I've ever seen or heard. The one that used to roll around my buddies neighborhood 20 years ago, sounded more like a car. The first time I heard it coming down the street, I assumed it was a T bucket street machine with open headers. Nope, just a blown V-max. Crazy.
I own a CBR250R MC19, the model before the one Yam mentions. It is so much fun. You can tell how much someone actually knows about bikes by how they respond when you tell them you own one. The newbies always have that "only a 250?" response.
My first motorized two wheeler was a Bianchi scooter. I moved on to a Yamaha trail bike. I would like to add a Vespa to the stable but command pretty high prices no matter the age. More than I am willing to spend for occasional use.
I have rode the RZ 350 RZ 500 I grew up on the back of Kawi Triples in the 80's, a friend of mine has a RG500 and my first bike was a 1976 RD400 in 1996! Great video! My neighbor Rob has over 13 RD350's! He races a FZR 400 Yamaha
I guess I'm just too old and too tame for most of those suggestions. Twenty some years ago I took a short spin on my cousin's Blackbird. Without even trying I had it up to 200 km/h (he lives in Canada) within seconds. Turned around, did it again on the way back, dismounted, handed him his keys and said "thanks, that was awesome. I'm never buying one of those, I'd kill myself for sure".
I've had bikes ranging from 250cc to 1800cc in size, but just got my first sport bike - a BMW S1000RR. Oh man... Oh man... I'm having a love affair with that beast.
My first one was a Famel XF17 50cc water/liquid cooled (Portuguese metal factory turned motorcycle brand that now, after years closed for bankruptcy and stuff... Is about to come back as electric
Scooters are underrated! I started on a Vespa GTS 250, incredible fun! In fact I still have a scooter, BV 400, that thing is awesome!

You forgot the V8 swapped cycles. We've got a guy around me with a nitrous-fed 440 on a bike frame.
I had an rz350. It was one of my first road bikes.the thing was awesome....

My first motorized 2 wheeled vehicle was a scooter. It was fun for a while.

Not as cool as an RZ350 but Kawasaki sold KE100’s till 01 I believe. They might be the last street legal factory 2 stroke “motorcycle” 😅
Piss missile.😂🤣 Now I got another one to jack with folks. Hella people get upset when I call em crotch rockets.

america hasnt had any of the 2000s 2 strokes?
Huh? No Kawasaki Versys 650? 🫣
Ha. You must have a Versys 650. A good utilitarian bike, but exceptionally vanilla for such a list.
@ttentionpls 😂 It was just a little joke comment, knowing how much he "loves" them. 🙃
@hyperfocus4866 Ah. Okay. As you were then.
