Joyful Painting - Beast of Nurgle - The first of the Plastic model

The beast of nurgle is probably one of GW best model kits. 3 versions which look very different from one another as well as being packed with detail in every inch. For me, I give this piece a 8/10. I was able to brin out the details, some stuff turned out well, but for some reason doesn't pop. More to come.

Well first off, Happy Birthday! Second, I don't know the death guard codex but make sure that the Beast of Nurgle can be a part of the death guard army before buying, just in case unless you really like the model.

Nice but you dont use the pigments asyou ve done on theold nurgle beast?

Good point. It's mostly because of the differences of models and I was trying to replicate to some extent the box art.
The metal model is very plain compared to the new one and needed more depth and character, which the pigments could add.
The plastic model my idea and goal was to bring out the detail to be easily visible and not obscured at all since there was so much of it.
