@@morriganscreations Aha no worries man. When I saw you going over all those "unnecessary" but satisfying details I totally got it, I felt the same way doing multiple shades of lighting on glowing terrain that would get mostly hidden by models anyways. Sometimes you just do it because it's fun! There's no good optimising fun out of your hobbies ;D
This is great! It's nice to see a conversion that doesn't need more than one kit, or a bunch of miscellaneous bits! And it worked so well: you really managed to take a goofy looking figure and make it gross and intimidating!

Thanks for the video, I really like the conversion you’ve made. After playing dark tide I decided I needed a beast of nurgle in my collection as well.
Do you plan on converting yours or have you made the base model?
@@morriganscreations this may disappoint you but I’m only collecting the nurgle and death guard models. I own 1 copy of almost every death guard model ever made new on sprue except for the forgeworld stuff. I mainly paint what I 3D print and horde my official models, it’s shameful I know.

Amazing job! I remember wanting to use Beasts of Nurgle until I saw the old Finecast model. While I'm thrilled they're in plastic now, you've really taken the goofy harmless vibe... out of it... and it's a stellar improvement!

Never been a fan of the original Beast of Nurgle's faces/heads, I feel they look abit too goofy for my liking, btw I gave you a sub

Amazing job man , i felt like I was gonna catch a disease at that grand reveal ! Seeing a bash with just one kit is great , I’d love to see you rework other kits you think would benefit from the gross (glow) up.
Thanks, I know a lot of videos use about 6 different kits for something they could do with 2. I tried my best to use only stuff from the beast of nurgle kit and sculpt anything else I needed. Greenstuff is cheaper than buying more kits!
I cant stand the GW model but yours.....is a work of pure art in all its gross form.

Thats ruddy amazing! Out of curiosity how did you make the texture roller on the handle?
I mixed up some more of that Gorillaput (milliput and greenstuff) wrapped it round the handle and used ball stylus tools of different sizes to poke little dents of different depths into the putty. Then I left it to cure normally! I'm sure there are tutorials on TH-cam that explain it a lot better then I ever can. Hope it helped :)
