    Very nice dude 👌 currently planning a scheme for a fantasy undead army and thinking of doing it in a nurgle theme. Very helpful

    Love your stuff. I started a Nurgle army(as my first) and base all my painting methods on this video. Pacing and information is excellent. Thank you.

    love this, painting my first Beast of Nurgle this week and came looking for a guide and this is perfect! What size/brand brushes do you use for this? I can never tell if the brushes I'm using are too big or small

      Thanks for the lovely comment! As for brushes; currently I’m using Davinci synthetic brushes. They’re cheap and they hold their tip very well! I usually use a size 2 brush for most basic basecoating and highlights. I also have a size 1 brush for extra small detail and bigger brushes for applying contrasts paints etc

    With the amounts of shades and Constrasts, do you think the model would benefit from a zenithal prime? Would it make much difference? Great video!

    • @ThePutridPainter
      @ThePutridPainter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At the time of painting I didn’t know what a zenithal highlight was. For this particular model I’m not sure if that would give a big difference really. All the drybrushing might obscure that zenithal effect a bit

    About how long do you wait for one layer to dry before applying another? I ha e 2 plague drones one I didn't really wait between violent and green and the other I had to step away so there was almost a whole day between the 2 layers and one is wayyyy better looking than the other

      usually with water based paints the more water you add the more time it takes to dry. I try to keep my paints a little wet so I can apply them better. Though it's usually doesn't take much long to dry. Maybe a couple of minutes and I can continue with the next paint.
      Contrast paints and shades need way longer to dry. I usually leave those for about 10/15 minutes for contrasts and 30/40 minutes for shades
