Let me educate you all. Women submit to love. Love her, worship even the things that she feels awful about like her menstrual flow, or her stretchmarks, goddamn it love her morning breath, love her fears, let her know you'll protect her when things go south , let her know you love the ugly face she makes when she cries. Love her silly kinky hair that won't grow no matter how many eggs & avocadoes she applies on her scalp. Hell ! apply the egg mix on her scalp yourself kwani iko nini. Tell her you love the lingerie she puts on for you. If she got tiny titties , let her know they drive you crazy just as they are and you wouldn't have it any other way.Let her know she can fart in peace , that she can leave the toilet door open when she is doing her thang! Make it your mission to take every damn insecurity and paint them in silver. Then sit and watch your girl burn bright like a comet. ... watch her period cramps magically disappear, watch her recurrent infections disappear like they were never there. see how she takes the world by storm. if she is an English teacher, she will teach till the roof speaks in Fluent English. Don't play with women whose full potential has been unlocked. She will become the perfect woman for you no matter how progressive, how woke, how educated she is. If you come home one day and say you're going to Jupiter, she'll pack two suitcases and say '' when are we leaving'' .... really, if the above never comes to your mind when you are with her, please don't marry her, don't drag innocent children into a family of half-baked love.

    • @AlbertMakambi
      @AlbertMakambi 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Truth of the matter, I know countless men who do this (have done this) for their women and ended up being disregarded and at worst, treated like dirt. It's no longer a point to ask women what they want because they will say one thing, and act differently altogether. I've been a heartless, cold and 'bad' guy to a lady and for the length of time I was that man (years), she treated me like a king, literally. Shed complain about it, but always came back. Then I started treating her right, straight and good with flowers and chocolate, and for the first few months, it was cool. Then suddenly she started acting up all crazy and cold. In my thinking, most millennial women just want validation. After she got my validation, I was no longer man enough and so she had the reason not to be the women she had been. I feel what @Francis warutumo
is saying. Women will say they want a good man who treats them like a princess, get get him, and treat him like shit. I dont know, maybe you Ivy Brenda Cherotich
      are an exeption.

Bravo Mike Oyier, I like your perspectives.
My 2cents opinion on the issue of marriage:
Women marry 'lifestyle' rather than the man (a entity). Men marry a 'body' rather than a character/personality (a woman).
There are many similarities between the love of Christ to his bride (the church), or a people.
This matrix exudes so many parallels between female nature and the way women behaves towards men, on one hand, and the way Men behaves towards God.
Men (the populace, a people), only need God when it's convenient for them, ( when they have a pressing need, loneliness, sorrowful, or in a life threatening scenario to say the least). In this case, its all about what God can provide, to better our situation. Is that really love for God?
Even with realization that Christ died, became a curse for us, to be saved, its still not enough to submit, to reverence, we still accuse God of not loving us enough.
We only love God because we want a good fulfilling life, prosperity and excellence. We always want a spiritual father figure to fix things for us and be at our call and beck. Not minding what God wants of us first, before He can bless us. ' seek ye the kingdom of God, then everything will be........'. So do we truly love God? No.
There so many comparisons of this in the way women are unable to selflessly love men in reciprocity to the way Men love and provide for women. Despite the fact that men take risks, put their lives at stake in some instances for women.
The bible exhorts men (husbands) to love women (wives), as Christ loves his bride (the church). The holy writ says men are the head and women, the body, just as Christ is the head and the man, the body.
I thought this is an issue to ponder.

A man should first realize he is a man before a woman realizes he is a man. No wonder based on the myopic backward primitive and oppressive viewpoints of this male panel woman are not serious in relationships. I would hate my daughter to marry any one of these men. Except the reasonable person in the audience. Respect is earned by loving your woman. It is not a right but a result of your effort men! We women also see men as peacocks and we want to be with a peacock not with a crow like these men. I feel so violated by these men's attitudes no wonder men are killing themselves over the lack of love from their women. Uhh this made me feel some type of way. I wonder if I can even articulate my thoughts 😬why is it women have to submit first so that they can love them.
As much as women are not equal to men (and not in the way some might think) love and relationships are are about lifting each other up and complementing each other. Where one is weak the other one is strong. It is not about who has more authority than the other.
The counselor is speaking life! Some of the comments from the guest speakers 🧐 and when someone quotes the Bible they need to quote the whole context not just the bit they like or works in their favor.
Counselor, speak LIFE you’re educating our people!

The head of the house is not the man, it is the husband.
Biblically, the head of the house of an unmarried lady is her father. When she is married, it is her husband.
Boyfriends and all types of prospects are not recognised neither do they have any righta to the lady as the head as Mwakideu is trying to say.
God loved the church first and the church is learning/learnt how to submit after. It should be the same with men and women respectively.
The reversal of roles has led to the current society where men are not respected nor trusted and women are not loved nor cherished.

There is nothing wrong with conflict! Shocked? YES! Conflict is inevitable because two people have come together from two different worlds. What is wrong is unhealthy ways of dealing with conflict, eg. using submission to stifle your spouse's ability to offer input. This might also come as a shock to you, but the woman is a helper. That means you NEED help. Anyone who needs help is undoubtedly NOT self sufficient, in every sense of the word and every form of his being. That means help is not just in cooking and keeping everything clean. It includes THINKING AND DECISION MAKING.

That sounds like dictatorship not a marriage- i think that a man's words has some weight, it gives direction especially in dires situations but Final? come on! tell me that in an uncivilised world! press a pause button and leave that studio asap! Do you know how good it is to be with the woman that you love in one accord? how rewarding it is to communicate with each other like members one band trying to make a fine sound! it might feel on the surface like it empties the power of you ,but trust me, it earns you more respect in that house as Man! Hope you are not talking abt the women from rural areas here, who just get married because the bible says so hoping that they will get rewarded by going to heaven. Men want submission from strong women, alpha women, sexy and sassy women.women who do not waste their prime years riding the cock couresal.
A good example of such a marriage is that of wayde van niekerk(the 400m world record holder) and chesney van niekerk who is a lecturer in one of the most precious universities in south africa. Chesney did not spent her youth sleeping around with jerks like most of the kenyan women do and expect to have a beautiful marriage in their 30s after hitting the wall lol.as a matter of fact she is only 26years

Sometimes it doesn't work marrying your best friend! It's sweet when you are best friends just like that but when you marry it doesn't work! Marriage is a calling more than just best friends. Some people date 3 months, come from different backgrounds and it works, some lol can have been dating yrs , same background, same tribe, can be country but the moment they put the rings it breaks. I believe God unite people for a purpose, pray to get your match. Can be just luck sometimes, or a puzzle 🤔🤔
