I don't think so, there are constants that must be there for every relationship to succeed, that is what I think he's looking for since he said that he's from a healthy relationship, there are also things that I've seen in my parent's marriage that made them stick together for more than 25yrs that I'd love to see in my own marriage so I'll look for certain qualities in the woman that I'll intend to marry that are the same with my mother's and also work to improve my own qualities as well.

And they discussed it widely but didn't really answer the question...my point is, in future episodes could the moderator try to prevent this digressions? I don’t know that the idea is to pursue and capture but rather to pursue and experience a person which means you are in a constant active state in relationships. Putting up a front in your pursuit means the ‘other’ gets attracted to an ideal and not you. When you then withdraw the front after you get their attention, you are not the person the ‘other’ fell for and that is dubious.

About cohabitation, it is no longer considered as legal marriage after a certain number of years. The matrimonial act was revised. You are either customarily married, with proof of payment of dowry and witnesses, and/or you are married under statutory law (where we sogn certificates in church or at Sheria house) If you are married and acquire property together, no party is allowed to sell without the other party's consent. That'll be null and void. So if you are cohabiting, make sure that you are well protected in terms of property acquired by both of you. Or in case someone dies intestate, and dependants appear, with proof that they were dependant on the person who died, the property is divided into per unit. If married under statutory law, where you've signed the certificate, the other woman/man is not considered as married to the dead party, so he/she will not acquire any property but children born out of this, will get something because they are considered as innocent.

    • @mercyme4262

You meet a girl, start a crazy pursuit, create certain expectations in the girl, then when she says yes, the consistency and expectations end. This is duplicitous and insincere. I'd rather you leave the girl alone from the beginning. Also, men should be more honest about their expectations in relationships instead of tagging some poor girl along for n+ years, and when asked, they act surprised when their partners ask for a ring. Communicate your intentions early so that people know what's happening and they can plan ahead.

Oscar is a textbook person. Lol. It looks as though he speaks in logic and philosophy. Lool. A lawyer indeed. I still believe he's a soffttiiee at heart and he's so protective of who he will allow in his space up to a point of vulnerability.
Eli knows what he wants. He knows and he doesn't want to play around or try to see. He wants to see, then commit. No unnecessary heartaches. I'm with him on this.
    Georgie is just phenomenal!

    On the chase topic
Men who stop being nice and putting effort after winning a girl have personal issues. They are unintentional and confused because they are only thrilled by hard difficult things and shy away from ease.
It is choosing hard life. Could be attachment issues, ingenuity, or confusion.
The best thing to do is to leave them to it, maybe when they become goal-oriented and focused they will become intentional.
A great couple puts effort everyday, the effort becomes more with time not reducing

Human relationships are interesting because we are all not the same and we were brought up differently. How we wee raised really affects how we perceive , give and receive love and the kind of a partner we chose for ourselves.
People who were brought up in love like Eli are hard to find a partner because they have an idea of what love actually is and they tend to find themselves in healthier relationships.
I know someone who has resolved to never get married because her parents’ marriage is so perfect she has already decided that she can’t find someone to match it up with her.
But most of us were brought up in dysfunctional families and we need to heal before entering in relationships and that’s what Oscar is big on .
If I date a guy for two years and there are no marriage plans in the pipeline, I’d definitely ASK because nowadays, I personally don’t use assumptions. Let the person verbalize their intentions and expectations
Also, I was super excited to meet George and Eli juzi, humble and awesome guys even kwa ground

You guys are scrutinizing Eli for nothing. I totally can relate. Sometimes even finding that person you are sure of not marrying can be difficult juu unapata tu watu wa upuzi. Soft people like Eli can be taken advantage of easily in relationships. Plus there are people who fear the " Let's try and see where it goes" It could land you in trouble in future. You rather stay single than date for the sake of dating. Some people are still figuring out even their sexuality for God's sake🤣.

I mean what's the point of jumping into any relationship and then being a constant victim of heartbreaks just because you need to count exes? Eli clearly knows what he wants, which he hasn't found. I mean he clearly has standards, he has ladies chasing after him too but this is somebody who probably doesn't just want to date but wants to date deliberately, even if they turn out to be one of the thousand frogs. I mean people are dealing with shit put here. It could be depression, anything that may make someone decide to wait, or that makes one uncomfortable talking about their kind of ideal relationships.
