I have to say that I loved everything about this video… your presentation, the information you chose to give, your playing, and your ability to create 3 levels of gain that each has a fantastic sound. Really very well done. Thank you!
I clicked on this video in the help of actually learning what you had in mind perchance, what you ended up showing me was something I was curious about anyway. Presently, my distortion generator is the Goat Generator built by this Japanese-based company called Rancher. As of January 2024, it’s my temptation to get Core on the assumption that, although I could run the Goat Generator through the effects loop, it wouldn’t be necessary if I could approximate its sound in the modeler itself. That plexi sound that you demonstrated near the end gives me high hopes that it can be done.
Exactly what I was trying to do. I just bought the GT 1000 so very helpful. Would you be able to share your settings for each patch that you are using? Thank you
Great strategy. I think it's one of those "don't judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree" situation -- the core feels inadequately small if you try to use it like a traditional pedalboard: I see a lot of guys getting the core but hooking it up to an external set of footswitches. But I have been rethinking how I can take advantage of its patch up and down function in conjunction with manual mode kinda similar to your approach. It's actually much more versatile and expansive than a traditional pedalboard format.
ive had the core for almost 2 years now. its surprisigly intuitive live. even without using the play minimum option in the menus i had always set up our show to the first 3-4 patches with the 3rd switch set to our lead/loop toggle. its crazy how much this small box can do, and how well its held up.
Great vid. So if you turn up to a gig just using the core and adjust the bass treble middle etc to suit the venue, can that be a global setting? ie all patches are using the same amp model and if you adjust the treble can that adjust the treble on all patches? I am guessing it has global EQ but that will adjust the whole unit effects included.
Killer informative video!! I was wondering about the patch changing latency. I know you said that the Hx Stomp is more user friendly. I used to have a Boss Ms-3, but sold it and got the Hx Stomp. Hx Stomp is more easy to use mechanically, because of snapshots and the ease of setting footswitch functions (MS3 was hard at first because of curnum functions and stuff ), but I think it was much easier to get decent modulation/delay/reverb sounds from the MS-3. If used correctly Hx Stomp might sound better, but there are so many parameters to adjust. MS-3 was like, set up an effect block and they usually sounded pretty good right from the start. What do you think about the Gt1000 core compared to the Hx stomp, not in user friendly layouts but just adjusting the parameters of each effect pedal for nice tones?
Hi thinking of getting this, i have one question though, can I assign those switches to be different patches rather than using it as a bank up and down? thanks!
Is there a way to make the delay not only spill over but also maintain from one patch to the next? For example on your high gain tone, turn on the delay, and then move to the low gain tone and the delay stays on? Does using the stompbox feature achieve this?
I believe the patches you botugh were for the previous videos. These patches are slightly different. We will probably upload these patches as a bundle. Stay tune. :)
@@GuitarEmerge just so I understand. Are we to create the patches ourself from the info your showing? Or is there 3 patches that you already created? Or are you just showing off your awesome tones?
The best video I have seen in how to use the Core! You are squeezing that little box!

Thanks!
This was so educational, thank you.

It's much deeper (thankfully) than yr guessing at.
How do I limit my core to 2 or 3 patches when performing live so I don't hit other patches by accident??
Very interesting , thank you very much !! also nice playing :)
Boss GT1000 can't do this, can it? Only limit to Bank extents?
What are all the settings?
is it possible to use a Footswitch with 4 buttons on gt 1000 core?
Can I buy these patches please?
Are these presets available anywhere?
How to set manual stomp to any exf
nice vid! thks!

How the hell does this channel only have 16k subs??? Blasphemy
Better to buy boss gt 1000 floor model as it more switch with an expression pedal

Yes u can.
@@GuitarEmerge thank you! update just got mine today!
should i move from hx stomp to core? because when i switch preset they have lag or delay to clear memory 😢 are u have idea?
Both units are great. But I lean more towards the HX Stomp due to the user friendliness of the unit :)

Good question. I would think you have to store the patch as default delay on.
🔥🙏🏼🔥
Thanks for this - Can I buy these completed patches ?
GOT THEM!

Where i can buy the bundle?@@GuitarEmerge
@@MontyDeanecan you send me the Patches?
Sounds great. But its a little noisy, isnt it?
Hi there! I’m just new to GTcore! Do you have the setup patches on your example video? How did you do the settings and assigned? TIA
Appreciate it 👍
Also how you create the chain? Thank you
Read the manual.I took it slow so that I know each step properly. That's the best way.
Which do you prefer for worship setting - STOMP or Core?
Both can be use effectively I would say. However I'm more inclined to the HX stomp due to the the user interface and ease of use. :)
@@GuitarEmerge thanks my friend. Question, does the Core have snapshots too?
@@nickojohnodtujan2795 no snapshots. The have stomp mode with assigns.
@@GuitarEmerge thanks Buddy. I'm excited with the new Stomp XL.
@@nickojohnodtujan2795 good product for people who haven't had a stomp with midi. :)
