    Easy tip re screw management - take a photo of whatever MB (or any other thing) you are working on, print it out, and place the screws and plates on the relevant bits of the photo. Effortless, 2 minutes to sort and a lifesaver!!

      Works, but putting it in the pattern works just as well and doesn't require so many print outs. Also, the paper is easy to jostle and knock everything down, so make sure to tape it down to the table if you use that method.

      That is great knowledge, however had i known that prior to taking it apart, i wouldn't be in this predicament.

    Hi
    I have the same MacBook Pro a1990 with logic board does not power on . Please help to refer someone you said can fix the logic board

  • @shawnjohnson3433
    @shawnjohnson3433 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    In the beginning where you said you would clean it by the sink; What % are you using for the isopropyl are you using? Are you missing it with water? Also, doesn't that damage the board when you are spraying down the board?
    I spilled very little coffee on mine. At first it turned on but would not get pass login because it told me I needed to apple support. Then I was able to boot in Safe Mode and in Disk Utility mode. Now, I can boot, but the screen is completely not working, or using an external monitor is not working, however, the touch bar works and seems like the keyboard works. I used Siri to tell me the weather and the sound works, So I suspect there is some damage to the graphics card or something. Any suggestions?

    Great video, I just ordered a used logic board because this one is fried after the professional drying/cleaning like you just did. Would dropping the new logic board work the same way as you dropping this cleaned one in or will there be compatibility issues with communicating to the new device?

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If that's the only issue, it'll work, but you'll lose the data because it'll be a new drive.

    My MacBook won’t power on. Even when plugged in. Does the logic board need to be replaced? Or is it the battery?

    okay so i did exactly what you said not to do with speaker connector i pried the speaker sockets out. how do i put them back? by soldering?

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you ripped it out, you also ripped the traces out of the motherboard. It won't be easy to solder it. And even so, the connector will rip back off the board very easily. :(

    • @kennethwilliams9924
      @kennethwilliams9924 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Me too. They really are tricky little boogers. I manged to bodge-fix mine by supergluing the socket back to the board. Luckily it maintained the pin-connections. Alternative is to get someone who can micro-solder to pin them back in place.
