I started following your classes a month ago, and I absolutely love your calm presence. At first, I found your 'Hello friends' greeting a bit cringey, but it's grown on me-now I find it really cute! From cringe to cute, never stop being you. I’ve been dancing for 10 years and have followed many other classes on TH-cam, but yours bring a fresh, modern touch. I feel like I’m getting to know my body better, learning how to stretch and move with more ease and fluidity than ever before. I’m excited to continue this journey with you! ❤
Aw, I'm glad you're here. Thank you for the kind words - AND being real with me. I can be cringey, and also silly, and reverent, and all the things (aren't we all).
Still my favorite teacher. Still learning every day something new from this teacher. This women is more than her body, please let us be grateful for her work, lets be respectful for her husband and kids, dont focus on her body focus on the yoga part guys.
Just found your channel and I love the way you teach. I appreciate your importance behind breath. I’m working toward transitioning to intermediate yoga, I would absolutely value and cherish an all levels video with queues and tips for progressing toward intermediate! I’m not sure how to practice to improve to intermediate on my own, but I’m better than I was as a complete beginner.
The fact that you have this mindset is beautiful. There are no true "levels". Doing a headstand, for example, doesn't make you "intermediate" but it's empowering to get strong with more challenging. In general try - Using your hands less in transitions - Taking the opportunity to hop up or back vs. stepping - Practice arm balances like crow - Start including binds whenever, wherever - get creative. - Use props to help you go deeper - like forward fold while standing on a block, or puppy pose with hands on a block. Here's my intermediate playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLRilQg5Mq58l6RP9TKDbTl_CBQ2QiF_VD.html But start with this fun one and see how it feels: th-cam.com/video/wKKq2Wpoisc/w-d-xo.html As always, the more you do something the more you CAN do it!
Kate, you're absolutely my go-to yoga guru! Your wisdom is so inspiring! I tend to hold a lot of tension in my hips, so I'm sure this workout will be super beneficial for me! 😉😊🤩
The cue to twist to the side of the bent leg in pigeon was really useful! Felt a deeper stretch. Ended with happy baby rocks and reclined straddle rocks just to sink into the stretch a bit more.
Thank you so much Kate it was a very well received class today... Little bit injured so I loved this and held back where it was helpful too... Thank you for your time and your beautiful energy 🙏❣️
I finally succeeded in doing malasana for the first time in this class! 🎉 Since I started practicing yoga I was struggling with it, now while doing this class I tried malasana and I thought as usual that I won't be able to do it, but I was shocked that I actually did it! 🎉 Although my heels weren't fully touching the ground, but being able to sit in this deep squat without hands on ground was a great sensation I was eager to feel ❤ Thank youuuuu.
Thank you, a lovely class. It was all going so well until straddle. My hips have been stuck at 90 degrees with no change but I'll keep trying. My legs feel great afterwards.
@@KateAmberYoga Your brilliant class sequencing and options combined with my trail running and ice baths have been a winning combination for feeling tip-top. Thank you!
hi,Kate. I am practicing with you here in Germany. Sorry,my English is not so good, but I just want to say : THANK YOU, and I LIKE YOU SO MUCH. Namaste🙏💓
Got here via the algo as I am a cyclist with sore hips….mama mia this is a great stretch for legs and hips. Kate this is a great class even for the non-yoga experts like you! Bravo!
@@franciscopizarro9459 hey! Love it when the Algo does it's thang 🙌 thanks for practicing with me and I hope you both feel better and can cycle harder tomorrow. ⚡️
This class was great! I could touch my butt with my left ankle in that quad stretch, yay! I also noticed my right hamstring is reaaaally tight and so is my left hip flexor. Thank so much for this class, I really needed it🙏🏻.
Perfect 🙏🏻 For some time my right knee hurts when I do some poses where the right leg is stretched backwards and the left is forwards. Like split and stretches for the split. It does not hurt in pigeon. Why does this happen and how can I prevent it? The pain is quite sharp. I have no pain during these poses on the left knee. Also my left hip is a lot tighter than my right hip, could that have something to do with it?
you are on a roll with your last few classes. clean, clear, simple, masterful . the black on black look, seems to focus the attention more to the teaching, movement and breath. i am looking forward to this class again soon. thank you!
This does not help you get flexible ; it is meant for people who already have flexible bodies . This video is not teaching you yoga , it is only an exhibition.of the teacher's beautiful and ultra supple body .
