i took a break from yoga during a bad mental health period, and i am so happy to be back, getting that moment during the practice where a smile forms without trying, your breath deepens and tears start forming. the release this gave me through my hips helped me let go of all the anxiety i had clenched inside me. i have missed this beautiful feeling and i’m so grateful and happy to be falling in love with my practice again, thank you:)

Wow! This yoga session really went into areas I didn't know where that stiff. I almost wanted to cry at times because it hurt so much (in a good way!)
This was such a wonderful practice! I really enjoyed the deeper and longer holds, which allowed us to connect deeper with the body and breath. I could definitely feel a release in my hip area by the end of our practice. Thank you 🙏🏼❤

😅....I'm a member of community but haven't clocked this series....it'll compel me to do the others. That was truly incredible with some new twists I haven't seen before anywhere.... Pigeon with eye of needle...that's really helpful cos my pigeon is awful but this helps true me up. Hero is okay but declining Hero is quite advanced and I think is a position that is very subjective in how one should achieve it for their body/KNEE shape😮 sure you'd agree... I used to think I had to look like Juliana but our body shapes are oceans apart so I've found my knees have to point away and have more spread to even get close to being on the floor with my head. Just think these advanced ones come with a health warning..😅. Namaste ...I hope to meet the troops in Barbados or go to Costa Rica one day..

So I’ve had this weird experience with this unique psoas stretch and the stretches with the lower body. I have intense experiences from combat, arise with names and flashes from my time in the Middle East. And with that there is a decrease in my amount of nightmares from those same experiences. There’s probably more science to that. But I thought that might be something he would like to know.
Great for me because my lower body is very inflexible - the hip flexor stuff felt awesome
But the kneeling can only be done when I’m sitting on my heels and even then, I really feel the stretch in my quadriceps
I’m assuming that with practice, eventually I’ll also be able tie myself in knots
I will certainly be coming back to this deep stretch 👏🏻

Thank you - im am very very unflexible in my hips and my knees are not good impossible to kneel. I still run and cycle so I will do this yoga practise regularly to loosen off the muscles. I am new to yoga only 6 months!! Love from me - Jillian - in uk. (age 64)
