Two possibilities for "Cinder" Carla being a survivor of the Fires of Ibis; 1. Cryostasis, which is possible in Armored Core universe, as someone else noted. 2. Carla is an augmented human, where the side effects extended her lifespan significantly, which is basically the norm in Armored Core universe, and VERY possible.
I would say the second more then the first, but that is more because we have had examples of human plus doing this age stopping as many have pointed out with Leos Klein and Catarina. One guy being a lot older then he is but still looking in his forty's, while the other was a young women who slowly would die when all her muscle tightened up to the point her heart would stop.
If Tsunade has taught me anything, its that any woman would go to great lengths to keep themselves young. After all...The Armored Core Series is well-known for letting our minds wonder within the story.
She only took over her doser territory 3 years before the start of the game (no need to dive into data logs for that one, it's right in the briefing for the mission you meet her in) so it's most likely that she was in some kind of stasis, so she'd physically be three years older than she was when the fires of Ibis happened.
The voice actor absolutely nailed Carla. Her and Chatty easily my favorite. Even though i HATE burning the Coral, her and Walter really make me want to work eith them just to get that praise... Fuhh it feels good..
A nice and clean report on Cinder Carla. I wish there were other survivors of the Fires of Ibis so they could also be called Cinder, which could be a point to expand the lore about the planet before it was burned to ash. That, and the fact I would like to know more about this group, the Overseers. >_
Thank you Love-ark and yes while we do have father Dolmayan, he's only one guy and I'd love to learn more about all these hackers and junk wizard carla had with her. Also yes more overseer lore would be neat.
Thanks for another lore video, Carla's siege missiles were a favourite of mine before the patch, yet the arms of her AC possess a surprisingly high melee stat!
So my headcanon is that Carla is actually the daughter, it’s why she knows so much but Walter knows more. It explains the age, why Walter is the leader and not her, and why her tech, while good, is not institute level, regardless of coral tech.
A very well made character. Can’t help but feel bad when betraying her and Walter, but her plan to save humanity would’ve killed millions and wasted Coral’s potential entirely.
She is well written and as for the ending i am getting a FA vibe of 621 choice to either kill a planet to save history repeating itself over and over, save the planet and really change nothing as the corps and pca will be back or let coral be free and see what these once trapped beings can do.
Another thoroughly excellent video. Admittedly, I only watched part of it because I didn’t want to spoil myself on story details that I haven’t gotten to yet, but what I did watch was absolutely delightful. Keep ‘em coming, and all the best!
Again possible. I would lean more in the human plus side of things what with ac's track record of how it always seem to keep this non ageing process. But as we see 621 is all wrapped up like a sealed package of fresh fish and we really don't know if this is possible a way people lived longer either.
Here's the episode I've waited most anxiously for! This is truly great work, as always! In-depth full-game analysis channel when? We all know you're going places! I'd love to see what you think about the classics, and modern epics of the industry. Just a thought. 😅
Hope i did the cinder lady justice then =). And well I could do a personal thoughts on the ac games, i don't know about deep analysis though it might just me rambling on about the what i like and dislike about the games ha ha.
@@armoredcorelore I honestly was talking about having a second channel, or at least a main channel playlist for other games you might be interested in. You have some of the most comprehensive breakdowns of obscure details I've ever seen at this tier of channel size, so I think it would be fascinating to hear your thoughts on games of all stripes. Of course, that's completely your choice, and I know your first love is AC, but if anyone could do it, I think you're the man for the job. Your attention to detail is astounding, and I'm consistently impressed. :)
Again very possible, i am more leaning toward the human plus side of things as ac does like the human plus side effect of not ageing. But we also saw how 621 was kept, so its very possible there is some form of this to allow carla to have kept her age down.
Great upload! Your scripting for this vid was excellent! You also touched on Carla's age discrepancy which was something I had often thought about. I lean toward your theory that augmentation has retarded the aging process. Granted it was a different universe, but Leos Klein was well over one hundred years old during the Mars crisis. It wouldn't shock me to learn that Carla is also enhanced. Again, great upload.
Absolutely possible although the more confirmed way is the use of human plus to curb the aging process like with Leos Klein and Catarina who show this in thier respected game and manga.
I don know about you but I think Carla built the Ice worm with it looking more RaD like than other C weapons, it's puny name with real iceworms being tiny and lastly the fact she had the rail cannon that could break it's shield . My theory isn't perfect mainly why did she build it an when along with how the PCA gained control of it. In all I just like this theory.
From what i can understand, the PCA has already occupied Rubicon 3 soon after the fire of IBIS, tho i doubt PCA has complete control on IBIS series/C weapons, it felt like they can only contained and let it rampage when needed.
Yeah you're probably right the Ice worm dose just rip up the space port with disregard for friendly PCA forces that could still be in the area, hell they probably just switched it on and it when t right to what ever was neat by and could of been a threat to the watch point.
I like the theory and it very possible she and Walter knew about the ice worm being there when it was being built or being a part of that project. Walter certain showed his knowledge with the c weapons as does carla so i would say it very possible. As for the PCA it really was just a government branch moving in and taking control, i expect like suggested by alternative915 the pca had little understand of the c weapons, so it really was a case of only use them if we have too.
she 70 but still sound like 30 well theory time so if she get the human augmentation can she still stay the same, after all the human augmentation and human plus are kinda similiar and human plus also confirmed to stop aging on person, im not talking about leos klein but that girl from armored core manga
I think armoredcorelore missed a small detail in the weeds that helps explain the matter. Carla only shaped RaD into what it is today three years before the events of the game. This lends credence to the idea that she was in some form of stasis, maybe even coming out alongside the other "tech wizards" she brought with her. I find it likely that Branch releasing the information that Coral was still on Rubicon tripped some sort of mechanism to wake her up set up by Nagai, or maybe herself.
I do love theory time and i would lean more into the human plus side of thing as you quite rightly said we have two very clear examples with Leos and Catarina. Agreeable Cat's was a lot more extreme then Leos as the guy was still showing sighs of ageing as Cat well she would look that way until her muscles tightened to the point her heart gave out.
Its a fair call out. That being said while it does lead to giving a point towards the idea Carla being in statis or frozen, i would not feel happy to define that as the way it went down. What with ac's history of human plus and how little is known about the technology in ac6, I'd like to leave it in theory ground for now.
The best strat using this AC is NOT fire a burst set of 2 handed missile and 2 back missile , rather fire 1 missile weapon at a time, this create a constant barrage of missile that enemy AC has no room to counter and when the AC got stunned, that where the massive damage come in.
Great vid. Ironically though, the Soup missiles are pretty trash in PvP, while the Aperitif was meta and extremely oppressive when used correctly, so much so that From nerfed its tracking.
It’s entirely possible Carla and some of the other survivors went into Cryostasis before the fires of Ibis
Yes it is, but she and others may have been augmented instead as human plus has a history of stopping ageing in ac.

Still would.
hey i mean

and also, there's a possibility she isn't that old if we take into account those RaD logs

For a 70 year old she sure has some spunk to her and a hell of a fighting spirit (i have ptsd from the arena and the alternate route ending)
They say age is but a number or maybe she's augmented. Either way you did good raven.
Hell yeah its mommy!
Ha ha like it.
Coral probably has a longevity property, keeping those who consume it or are surrounded by it daily young.

Her AC might as well be Vero Nork from AC4/FA. Judging by all her missiles
True thought i can say at least Carla can aim hers with a lock on.
