The ecm needs to know the engine temp from the sensor The gauge on the cluster can be out but the sensor has to be working in order for the engine to assess timing firing and limp mode if over fueling and the best tuning for fuel mileage

Good morning, off topic but I have a 2000 7.3 that came with an Edge pod tuner. The display seldom works now. I have no need for tuning but want the gauge data. What are your thoughts, also has a remote start that doesn't work. Great channel and thank you.

Hey Clint, my cab bushings are just spinning when turning the bolt in footwell and behind seats. What’s the best way to keep bushing steady to get the bolt out?

bottle jack the underside of bushing to stay in locked place and then heat the bolt up to soften up the thread lock
